What is a unique user? It says this on the "forum statistics" page. I'm assuming it's people who have posted that don't post very often?
My guess would be, you and me are 2 unique users. Even if we write hundreds of posts through the years, we're still only 2 unique users.
So there were 2495 users that posted at least once in English forum.
