Decided to count the current(season 22) number of USA players in each squad, U21 not included.

The one American that I have in my main squad is only there because of roster limits so I really don't have any Americans. For quite a few seasons, I would have 11 different nations represented in my starting roster & a few times I had 17 different nations if you included my bench. Now that I have TC 10 & will shortly have YC 10, I do want to grow more Americans into my squad.

I've never had a non American come out of my yc. Unfortunately until recently they were all subpar compared to oneS I could buy. Soon I will have all Americans since I have tc10, yc10 and double staff on yc.

Its likely that the number of US players on our rosters will grow over the next several seasons. In the last 52 days we've had three new YC10s and at the start of this season 4 teams building youth 10. this leads me to believe that this league will do less on the transfer market and have more home grown players.

I only have one American starter. But in a couple of seasons I should have more.

After this season I will only have 2 foreign players. I will need to keep both of them around for a while, but they will be the only 2. I will be going to mostly home-grown, but since there will be a lot more good American players on the market, I might start buying.

I want to go full homegrown eventually but I know I'll keep buying some players to fill holes (or real young ones to flip later on for money). Almost all of my purchases will probably be foreign because I really don't like buying from other US managers. I've done it twice (once from the Riverhounds & once from Shadows of Amn) but I try to avoid it.
