Former Players from your youth academy(that you've sold) (6)

us ranks39 >> الاثنين مارس 10 - 19:18
I posted this on the 2nd Division forum, but this one is far more active. So here:

I thought it would be interesting to see everyone's players that came through their youth academy.....if you don't know how to do it, you just click on your team name, then click on "transfers" on the right side, that will show all the players that you've bought/sold and you may remember some old youth players from your academies! I've held onto all of my good ones, but there are some "decent" ones out there...also some turds, too.

This is my first ever youth player from my own academy that I sold; he wasn't terrible, but since he's been gone he hasn't improved at all:

Here's on that I thought could have success in the lower levels of a league. He's now in Argentina and played a role in their promotion last year:
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-325665/employment

This was my first youth player I got here in this league. He's become a good low-level player for a team in league 4:

Here's a player that I thought would become ok...which he did:
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-334647/employment

This was one of my "stars" from my early youth teams. He has posted decent numbers in the 3rd division of Mexico with one season with 11 goals and another with 7 goals(so far):
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-233565/employment

This guy didn't pan out at all for me, and plays only sparingly on his current club...:
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-258584/employment

At one point, I thought this was my goalkeeper of the future(he was one of my first youth players with 3 balls of talent). Strangely enough he is the first-choice goalkeeper for the top team in the top division of the Virgin Islands league...crazy!
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-260511/employment

Another guy that I had high hopes for that didn't quite realize what I thought his potential would be. He's decent and plays a bit in the 2nd division of Mexico.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-250308/employment

Finally, the best player to come out of my academy that I sold. He is pretty decent, and has posted decent numbers this season in the Canadian 3rd division:

I have a ton of players from my youth center (and original team) still playing somewhere else in the world since I've sold around 5-10 players per year. It's a bit disappointing to see players that I sold for a few hundred thousand now being worth a few million (though it was still necessary due to space limitations). I am limiting this list to players frommy youth center with at least 3 stars who are playing for a team in one of the top 2 leagues of its country.

1) Philip Waghorne (D) - He was one of the original prospects that I was training for my team until I found better players. He is now a starting defender for the first place team in the top league in Mexico.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-31732

2) Basili Castella (M) - Another prospect that I was originally training for my team. He is now a starting midfielder for one of the top teams in the Dominican Republic.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-160071

3) Wilfredo Kurcolidos (D) - Another original prospect. He is now a starter for Montgomery, a team with an outside chance of promotion in league 2 of the United States.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-221193

4) Ernesto Alaga (M) - He was one of the best prospects (from Mexico) at the time he was pulled, but I immediately decided that I didn't want to bother with him due to his laziness. He is now worth almost $1.5 million and starts for a really good team in the top Finnish league.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-252333

5) Tomas Nievez (D) - He is now the second best defender on a team in the top league of Israel. He was from Mexico.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-287566

6-7) Though they are not really prospects from my youth center, Demetri Laurent (a former starting forward, and member of the Panama NT, who was probably among the league leaders in this league) and Oscar Denavarro (who was my third forward and supposed to eventually become a top 2 forward) are both playing for the same team, Club Leon, a good team in the top league of Mexico. They are the two best players on the team. They are also both top 10 scorers in Mexico. They were from Panama and Chile respectively.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/team-4941

8) Robert Camacho (F)- He was a bit of a disappointing (Panamanian) prospect who is now the top forward for a good team in the top Costa Rican league.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-133410

9) Joaquin Villaneuvo (D) - I had a glut of great defensive prospects at the time and decided to sell the Mexican prospect to make room for new prospects. He is now one of the top defenders for one of the top 3 teams in Nepal.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-349867

10) Eberado Radilla (M) - He was one of my first prospects and one of the longest lasting from earlier in the game. He is now the best player of one of the top 2 teams in Curacao. He is tied for 3rd place in the league for assists.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-47475

11) Sean Canham (D) - He was another lazy prospect that I gave up on immediately, though he was otherwise very good at the time. He is now worth over $1 million and starts for one of the top teams in Mexico.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-351367

12) Giorgio Gonzalez (M) - He is currently a starting midfielder for a team in the top league of the Cook Islands.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-155581

13) Harry Lemmons (K) - He was my goaltender of the future until I created a much better 350 credit player (who is now much better and still 3 years younger). He is now the starter for a team in the top league of Fiji and is tied for second in clean sheets.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-160070

14) Gregory Yould (F) - He was briefly a candidate to be a future starter. He is now a player in a good league 2 team in Mexico, where he is tied for fourth in the league in scoring. He was also a member of the FC New York Cosmos for a few seasons.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-108513

15) Jeronimo Camancho (F) - He was my best forward prospect until I bought better prospects and players. He is now a starting forward for a good team in the top Hungarian league. He was from Mexico.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-259419

16) Garry Ingram (F) - He was a casualty of forward depth. He is now a starting forward for the third best team in Gibralter where he is tied for fourth in the league in scoring.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-292996

17) Adam Streeter (M) - He was my only good midfield prospect for a while. He is now a starter for Cappuccino Mark 4 in this league.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-312407

18) Yang-cheng Muruo (D) - He was one of my first and longest lasting prospects due to his good talent for the early seasons and his hardworking special attribute. He was a substitute and possible a starter for over 100 games with the Seattle Cataclysm. He is now a starter for the best team in Nepal.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-96657

19) Raul Demunoz (D) - The Mexican prospect was another casualty of my defensive depth. He is now a starter for the Rocky Mountain Huskies who will soon be in the top league of the United States.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-360169

20) Nick Frailey (D) - He was another prospect that I sold immediately due to a bad special attribute, though he was a very good prospect for a level 6 youth center. He is now a starter for the best team in the top league of Gabon.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-464619

21) Eddy Tolman (D) - He was supposed to be part of the current group of prospect who are about to take over on defense until I pulled another supertalent for my defense. He is now a starter for a good team in the top league of Belize.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-356826

22) Albert Galban (F) - The prospect from Mexico was a casualty of my depth at forward. He is now a starter for one of the top 3 teams in Fiji.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-360168

23) Isco Beiza (M) - He was a prospect from Guatemala. He is now a prospect for one of the top 3 teams in Dominica.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-456491

24) Ignaci Gongora (D) - He was one of my better younger defense prospects until recently. He was from Panama. He is now a prospect for a team in the top league of China. He is on a loan to a team in the top league of Belize, where he is the best player.
http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-409584

25) Henry Sinfield (M) - He is currently a prospect for the Terriers FC in the top league of the United States. He is on loan to "REAL MADRID" of league 3.1 of the United States, where he is the top midfielder.

Well, I have a lv 4 YC and don't have plan to upgrade it in for now. So my young men suck and most of them go for the bot teams.

But thank you, Pittsburgh Riverhounds, Seattle Cataclysm and SFVP, for introducing these boys to the world of football (with reasonable price).

I've also sold out tons of players from my youth academy. I'm only listing those I'm a little regret selling them.

http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-169127
Kevin Ruth, the former US national team shooter, first player from my level 5 Youth. Quite a prospect at that time, also a legend by scoring so many goals for Riverhounds. He's still a leading goalscorer at Ukraine League Div 1. He's No.1 player I shouldn't sold, lol

http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-255594
He's that kind player with amazing special attribute! With a power training and Correct, he's now a decent central defender. He's even good enough to play in my current squad. Again, I shouldn't have sold him!!!

Another great prospect from my level 6 Youth and only 20 when I sold him. He has the potential to be in American NT...

I thought it would be interesting to revive this thread. Though I have a good team right now, I gave up a lot of good players at young ages partially to earn enough to buy a lot of the players on my team and mostly to clear space for new prospects. I still kept enough players at each position that were more promising than the players below. It's discouraging to see how good some of them are now (though I'm still happy with my current squad). Here is a roster of players that I have gotten rid of to buy other players and clear room for prospects. These players could probably form a team that would be competitive in the North American League.
