Yesterday's game against FC Pirate (which has turned into a surprise contender this season) was a bit disappointing, but it seems the Polar Bear Council made up for it today against SFVP. The Polar Bear Council FC has had an impressive first half, ending tomorrow against the Seattle Albatrosses SC (who for some reason tend to be a difficult opponent for the Polar Bear Council FC, their current record notwithstanding). Vulic seems to be delivering on the investment I made at the end of last season, and it is nice to see Penabad join Vulic and Adbusjaparov in the top 10 for now.

The remainder of the season should be competitive, and I wouldn't be surprised to see Fieras FC or SFVP still manage to join the race for first by the end of the season.

I don't see eithervof us bring relevant unless we can both hand you and valentine some losses.

Looks liek Shadows of Amn, Riverhounds, Polar Bears and my team are all going to advance out of our divisions in the Champions league in first place. That means we don't have to play eachother until at least the quarterfinals (We also avoid having to play the Jamaican Club until then as well.

This is a huge improvement for my team from last season. Last season I got swept by the same team that I absolutely murdered in the group stage this time around. He didn't even make it out of the group. I outscored my opponents 30-4 and I got some quality time for some of my subs as well (George Badra scored 3 times and William Backen had 4 assists).

I am really happy with this result. I haven't had a good run of the Champions league yet, losing a close series to the Riverhounds in Season 11 and getting absolutely crushed by the Jamaican Obeah Men in Season 12.

I hope to make it to the semis this year. If I got there I'd be happy.

Regardless the tough match itself, my players scored both goals against Polar Bears this morning, but we still lost the match. Yelp! Two own goals, pretty hilarious, isn't it? Congrats to Polar Bears making it into National Cup's semi-final.

Just got my first league win against the riverhounds. 2-0 off of outshooting them 20-8. This is a huge accomplishment for us.

Thanks - it was a bit of a fluke match, but I'll take the win. Hopefully I can capitalize off this opportunity, though I'll probably end up playing away against Fieras FC in the next round. I tried using a 6-3-1 for the cup match, though it seems that my keeper still had to stop 20 shots.

I guess my forwards were a bit tired for the match against the Terriers FC or something. Though I would like to have the 2 points back, at least the Polar Bear Council FC is still tied for first and gets to play Fieras FC, the Pittsburgh Riverhounds, and the Shadows of Amn at home in the second half.

I picked up some depth on defense during the transfer window. So far, the new defender seems to have improved my defense a bit, in addition to giving me more flexibility with formations.

Wrong this time. You get home against me this time. My 13 game streak may be about to end.

Though I would rather have played Detroit City FC, I guess playing Fieras FC with home advantage now is better than potentially playing Fieras FC in the finals.

Geeez. Amityville has my number this season. Two losses to them in season AND they knocked me out of the cup. Changed my strategy and they beat me each time. Congrats, they deserved to win, but I'm frustrated

FC Appleton 13 has wrapped up their season series with Fieras with a 0-0 draw. I am thrilled to have taken 4 points from our two matches with them. I feel good about where we are as we no longer have to play Fieras or Pittsburgh anymore this season. Dick Meek, our keeper, is quietly putting together a solid season with 8 clean sheets, 3rd-best in the league. Anyways, good game, John Deatrick.

It looks like my keeper finally passed 7 stars today. I don't think my keeper is going to get much better at this point, but it's great to hit the 3 gold star threshold with my keeper.

Shadows of amn and my team have moved on to the quarterfinals of the Champs league.

Time to get the win back for the us.

Got drawn against the Jamaican team in the Champs league 2 years in a row. Fun times.

Managed to last 90 minutes before the Jamaicans equalized. Oh well, I guess we played well.
