Phoenix Utd prevents St Pierre's double! (1)
Phoenix Utd managed by the charismatic and famous manager Aamir Khan has prevented St Pierre to do yet another domestic double trophy haul when they won 1-0 yesterday in the Cup tournament.
Despite fielding a very strong side and being the great favourites to win the final, ST Pierre were very unlucky not to score and missed a lot of opportunities.
As for Phoenix Utd, they played out well their tactics in containing the surge of St Pierre and took their opportunity with a great goal from Diamini in the second half.
Phoenix Utd were on the losing finalists last season but this time they managed to beat St Pierre who are considered as favourites to retain the Mauritius League title yet again.
