The leagues of Colombia and United States will have 20 teams per league group next season.

The only question is how the final 4 teams will be chosen. I thought all teams that were competing for promotion would be promoted this season. Since the playoffs are continuing, perhaps the top 4 most popular teams from division 2 that don't promote in the playoffs will promote (maybe or maybe not including the teams that would be demoting this season).

Perhaps 4 new teams will be created.

Looking at the teams they added, I have no clue how they picked the teams. It looks almost like they picked them at random.

EDIT: Well it looks like anyone that lost in the promotion matches stayed down and the pulled from the remaining top finishers.
