As I understood it's not possible to dismiss a player. For now I can only sell him.
Are you going to provide us a possibility to dismiss a player?

You can dismiss (fire) players who are reserve players. So move a player from your main squad to the reserves, and then fire him on the reserves page.

What happens to fired players? Are they going teamless or will they be removed from the game entirely?

They will exist as long as there are references to them (matches they played in). After that they will be removed.

Okay.. So they cannot join a team in some free transfer-ish feature?
Are you planning on making free transfer things in the future? So that managers can also choose not to extend contracts with players? =)

I can't image anyone would like to hire a player that has been fired by another team. If the player were even a little interesting they'd sell him, wouldn't they?

Well.. People might not be interested in buying the players.. As the game grows, the worst players in big teams will be players who small teams are interested in..
So as a big team you would try to sell him, but nobody might be interested in him, and as the manager never uses him, he just fires him. Now a player is removed from the game, but several teams would have been happy to have him, they just couldn't afford him for the transfer prize..
It opens som new opportunities to allow team-less players

*You could make it so that you could always hire players without a teams, also when it is not in a transfer period
*Allow managers to handle contracts, so that you not just receiveing a message about a player getting his contract renewed

And then you have people with 2 accounts. One account to fire the best players and the other account buy them for free

You can't just not create features because you are afraid of cheating? Cheating is also possible now, but that dosen't mean they should close the game(or have never started it)?

With this option is the change of cheating to big

How so? How would cheating be different and/or worse with those features?

im sure if you were allowed to re-hire players that were sacked it would be similar to Rocking Rackets and you would have to wait 12-36hrs for the player to become avaiable (so will not be able to be abused)... but dont think the feature is necessary in this game?

No player is transfered without being on the transferlist for at least 24 hours. In this time anyone can bid on the player. You can't reliably pass players to a friend, there's a big chance someone else will get this player.

Yeah.. A lot of nice things in this game which makes cheating hard.. I would like some free transfer and contract features in the future, but i don't know how the development see it, if they have even discussed it yet
