Season 34 (16)

ca Jax >> freitag oktober 20 - 04:44

So who's building TC 11 or YC 11?  I've started production on my lvl 11 Youth Centre.  I had to pause my efforts on a new Office.  I cant be bothered to waste time and credits on a high rated staff member.  Instead I've decided to train a few new staffers for the future in preparation for the retirement of current top guys.

Regardless, I should be pumping out some high quality Canadian youths in a couple months.coolcoolcool

I also forgot to Congratulate Montreal Impact on their NAL victory.  I'd be lying if I said I wasn't jealous/bitter.  Maybe I'll get a 4th shot at the title, this season.

This is hilarious (probably not for Lujan, though).  Check out the PKs at the end of the match.  Very surprised I could win this match but I'll take it.  I don't feel too bad as Lujan has won a ton of these trophies.

@Jax congrats on the win...

As for season 34...I said over on League 2 forum...I am genuinely concerned about the future of this game...The gap between the have and have nots is about to become even greater...On the plus side I was able to obtain some talent albeit a tad older for some great value...But the bigger issue for me..and quite a few I see who have just finished YC10 is that our level 10 youth are not essentially worthless in value...SO...the idea of getting them and selling them in order to maximize revenue to upgrade for stadiums or YC11 or TC11 is so much more difficult...I never had the chance to enjoy selling my YC10 off....I think these upgrade were very short sighted...Anyway I have bitched long enough about this...I am hoping (I always hope) to avoid relegation this year...We shall see though what happens...Good Luck all...

@Ron I've said plenty about in the forums.  You and I are the in the same boat.  By the time I had built my level 10, the players were worth frations of what they once were simply due to the supply being WAY larger then the demand.  You and I both never benefited from the starter bonus which has allowed newer players to catch up much quicker.

I don't disagree with your concerns.  It's another bandaid fix for a game that could use an overhaul in many respects.  Im still happy that they arent sitting on their asses, though. It could always be worse, I guess.

I'm doing the Youth Academy 1/YC11 because I want to produce great players for my team but also for Canada's National Team.  I'm sure I will need to sell the odd player and hopefully I can get excellent value for them.

Poor Canada...your league's best keeper is Kastehein yell who has possibly record of most conceded goals in Estonian League 2 history and against who i typically scored 3 goals in match. And my team never passed first round of promotion playoffs- so far enough from League 1.

You seem obsessed with Kastehein! Maybe it was something to do with the 5 defenders infront of Kastehein in the Estonian league 2 non?!

Just looking at the quality of defenders Blue Lion has now, it's no suprise you tucked at least 3 goals against him.

@Alex pretty much bang on...I am seeing the exact same results with my own keeper....It's great to have a 6.45 blocking keeper but if the defenders in front of him are shite it all ends up being pointless....

Blue Lion had then much more defenders than 2 and somehow was able to stay in League 2. He bought in only 1 player on last 1.5 years(10 seasons or so) and others are homegrown and terribly(or not) trained. But i scored regularly 3 goals always against Kastehein. Even on youth cup matches and better days. Kastehein to every Estonian club and i would play for European League :D He played some matches for NT and leaked there too.

My former keeper Sophoulis tried hard to beat his records. Tried too hard but couldn't. And my defence was neved called good one.

Thanks.  It was pretty lucky if I'm honest but I'll obviously take it.  Some consolitation for my terrible continental season.

Well done Lujan and Jax!

We were all disappointing in the NAL and Champs League this season.

Manager of the Year for me is Ron for staying up. Huge achievement and patience given the gap between the have and have-nots. An inspiration for our Div 2 managers.
