The US NT upsets Macau, the team with the highest average value in the RS world. The next component would be China, the team who beat the USA during the previous World Cup.
The USA defeated China while being the underdog again. Now we only have one more match to kiss the World Cup!
Turkmenistan should be quite tired after the PK win in the other semi final.
Well, that's true, but their goalie still has almost 11 blocking, which is insane.
Sorry guys, I tried everything I could do by simulating the result for at least 30 times. Sadly, it looks like it's impossible to beat this insane goalkeeper in a penalty match.

So far so good in the North American Championship. Two wins and no goals conceded. Guatemala is up next in the group stage. It will be a test, but they will have a couple of guys carrying fatigue into the match.
US have secured a spot in the knockout state. Looking forward to the next round we will play either Curacao or the British Virgin Islands. Its a difficult path, Curacao beat us in qualifying and BVI is ranked 28 in the world and has a couple world class players including their keeper.
Absolute ridiculous tragedy that we didn't advance past Brisitsh VI. We outshot them 20-0 after regular time. Outshot them 10-0 in extra time. They did not get a single shot! We out tackeled them 35-6. Then to only convert 2 of 6 PKs.
Their GK is great, but its still an absolute comedy.
We're one game away from the world cup. We won 3-2 in the first match of the final round of qualifying. Now a win or tie at home will see us through.
Bonus: we're playing British VI, the team that knocked us out of the north American championship. Fingers crossed that something crazy doesn't happen again.

Does the next round include the World Cup? If yes, I think you should go ahead and continue coaching the team during the World Cup.

I've been coaching the Maldives NT for fun, but would love to switch to the US if nobody else is interested.
I think that we have a favorable draw for the group stage. First knockout round will be a major challenge, if we get there.
A disappointing draw today in the World Cup to Latvia. We should not have conceeded 3 goals and were clearly the better team. We're still in a good place to advance.
