Retirement of older players (374)
The first retirements will happen near the end of next season. There is some randomness involved, but players that are already older than 45 will retire on an expedited schedule.
This makes sense as I've seen loads of keepers that are collecting their pension and then putting their kit on!
Let's put aside the goalkeepers who come onto the field with a cane. Good news.
As somebody that has an elderly keeper collecting his pension, even I welcome this change. Thank you for making an update to the game!!
A sensible change and good to hear one being made. It'll be painful for those who have to suddenly adapt, but that's always been part of games like this. Guess I'm nervous about my goalies now!
Don't know how it has happened, but great news !! A piece of good sense has been applied to our game.
This is an excellent change to the game. Even though this will cost me millions, I'm very, very glad to see it happening.

haha, my 45 year old keeper retired to the Office just this season! Players who announce their retirement can no longer be transferred but I assume they can still become office staff correct?

I think that more importantly, this is a game change/improvement. More changes to come? Or is this one of one?

It's hilarious to see a 69-year-old goalkeeper playing at a high level. An old man that age has never crashed an engine
