Wow, upon further review, the 6,7,8,9 teams in league 2 got promoted and the 4,5 did not since they lost a playoff match. Pretty much all they did was allow 6-9 in and everything else played out as normal. NOT a big fan of how this all played out, but a friendly welcome to our new teams regardless.

I think FC Appleton 13, the Glenndale Bunnies, FC Pirate, the New York Cosmos, and Miami FC could all probably make the top 5 in level 2, especially since level 2 lost a lot of its other good teams. Three of them could be back in season 16.

It does seem odd the way promotions went for the league expansion but it should mostly sort itself out within 1-3 seasons. I fully expect to see 2 of Bunnies, Appleton & Pirate returning next season.

I am also a little surprised how promotion was decided. Not to offend some of the new teams, but I wonder what would have happened had the playoffs worked out differently. Would the #2 #3, #4 and #5 teams in division two stayed had they lost the playoff, and the number 6-9 teams been promoted? Higher seeds should not be at a disadvantage because of the playoff. That is not equitable.

I also agree Bunnies, Appleton and Pirate should earn promotion soon. My old team was promoted to division 2 without one 5 star player. The top division 2 teams should really pile up the wins.

With 20 teams I have a much better chance of finishing out of the bottom 3 teams. Actually I made some moves this off season so I'm hoping to finish in the middle of the pack this season.

I was also surprised that Union had to play FC Pirate. I would have thought the best best League 1 team would have played the worst League 2 team.

Well this is a find how do you do...get rewarded for not getting in the playoffs...or not rewarded for getting in...why were any teams relegated as well as lower teams promoted that did not finish in the top 5? Holy dart tourney Batman...

I won a lot of extra competitive matches. Had the domestic cup win, which meant more games and away wins. Also was in the NA League qualifying (I think all 3 qualifying rounds) all the way through to the final, so there were international matches that I won almost all of. Being in the NA League qualifying is really better than going straight to the group stage, the early rounds are a cake walk.

yeah, more money, more popularity. That, and its also a round longer. Makes sense. You made up 30k popularity on everyone else last season. Thats pretty amazing.

Another thing that helped me last season, in addition to having a max level fan shop and playing a lot of international and cup games, was probably taking advantage of the option to automatically sell tickets. Without that option, it is getting hard to find 10 new managers to sell tickets to at this point; I also probably wouldn't bother trying to do it manually.

He gained 29k more fans than me and 53k more fans than you last season. That seems..... significant, and we were 3 of the top 4 U.S.A. gainers for the season (Shadows of Amn had 133k total)
