Got this player today (not the best talent in the world, I know).

For a tall player I would suggest a goalkeeper or a defender, I would probably prefer defender. But since I'm only a mid-level manager I might as well ask whether I'm right or wrong and why...

Oh, and of course, let's establish up front that Awful is the bestest and most experienced manager in the game...

Because of his Blocking it would definitely make sense to make him either a keeper or a (central) defender. 

I guess Tall is useful for both positions, but doesn't add as much as Agile would for a keeper. 

As to which is best? It mostly depends on whether he is being trained for a quick sale or being kept long term.

If keeping him. Since keepers are such a specialist position and it's difficult to train/play them then I would suggest you trained a more talented (and younger) player for a keeper. 

If, however, you want to sell at around 21/22 then it's probably best to keep him as a keeper because of the 200+ position experience that he already has.

I was thinking about a Fullback/Wingback myself based on that same assumption, but it's always good to get that confirmed.
