A: Qatar was ...crap. They even didn't try seriously. Senegal deserved at least one point.

B: Iran had at least fighting spirit. USA and Wales didn't impress enough.

C: Just WTF. Only Netherlands losing to Qatar can be bigger surprise.

Yeah, the Saudi match was a bit of a shock result, but they scored a couple of good goals.

I am of the view that any country good enough to qualify for the tournament has a reasonable chance of getting a result in any one match. Although the eventual winner is likely to come from one of the favourites.

So after the Japan match, I'm thinking that helps to prove my point that any team can get a result.

Then along come Costa Rica, lol ... brilliant! Congrats to Spain. :D

Wales' keeper Hennessey gets a straight red for doing a poor impersonation of Bruce Lee in 'Enter The Dragon'.

Wales were, frankly, disappointing against Iran and despite having more possession were always vulnerable at the back and allowed Iran more chances than they created themselves. Although the 2 goals came very late in the game when Wales were down to 10 men, Iran were the deserved winners.

If England will not lose to USA then Iran has quite good chances to advance when get draw in last match. They are extra motivated against ideological enemy. So far all biggest surprises come from Asia. Next South Korea will make CR cry...

Netherlands very poor oerformance against Ecuador. But a win against Qatar will be enough for qualification.
