I think there are some players who may not be important to some teams, but they may be important to some other teams. I think we can buy the players who were sold to the bank for a little more money, instead of selling them to the bank and disappearing.

I think the team manager should be allowed to adjust the formation on site, because if a player is not in good form, we cannot predict before the competition, so we cannot replace them. Or if a player is in good form, replacing them at halftime will also affect the team's performance. If the manager does not watch the competition in person, a replacement can be set up before the competition.

It looks like this has been discussed many times before. When you start out this probably seems like a good idea. But when you get to the point where you want to sell players, I think this would not be a good idea.

That's quite the understatement, er, Your Majesty...

People have been asking about this pretty much since the game began . The forum is full of these threads. @King Arthur has found the tip of the iceberg in his post.

Putting in something like this would radically alter the game economy. That is something that would need to be carefully addressed. And then we also have the problem that the game is not really being actively developed at this time. Without a developer, no changes of this kind can take place.

As for your bit about changing players in real time. The result is determined 10 minutes before you watch the game 'live'. What you are seeing is effectively a replay of the events that were calculated earlier. Hope that makes sense. The developers didn't want this to be a game where you had to be present at all your games. That is why the game is the way it is.

Was going to suggest a round table discussion, but King Arthur has put that idea to the sword.

@Manager Liu The 'sell to bank' option was brought in because the truth is the exact opposite of what you're saying, i.e. there aren't enough weaker teams that want to buy weaker players. This had meant that maybe 90% or more of these players went unsold. My tip is that if those players are the best you can buy, spend that money on facilities or save your money - those are much better options in the long run.

Also, when you say 'for a little more money', if you mean more than 25m RSD, those players were listed for that amount and went unsold. If you really want to buy them, do it!

The real issue here is that - with a few exceptions - all the trained players are overvalued by the game.

[The main exceptions being the elderly and the useless.]

Moreover the 'sell to bank' option has in effect created an artificial price floor at 25 million RSD. So that's the starting price for even the weakest players. New managers and very small clubs simply can't afford those prices.  This is why these kind of threads appear frequently.

There is no simple fix. As Stephen says, any change in this area would massively alter the game's economy.

The suggestion usually given to most small clubs is (1.) to take advantage of loan players (2.) concentrate on building infrastructure rather than improving the squad and (3.) cheap elderly players can be a useful stop gap.

@ipfreely. That is a good tip. Facilities are better than a mediocre player. Better that I realise that late than never :)

For such a tip, you should give him a knighthood and put him in charge of all your land and building projects.

You can call him Sir Veyor.
