friday june 5 - 20:56 That's not the same. Short gives 0,5 speed, nothing else is mentioned so that means it is a flat bonus to speed. With dribbler, it specifically says 'when on the ball', which to me clearly states that it is not always, just when he is on the ball, having the ball in possesion. If it were to be a flat bonus, the 'when on the ball' part would not have been there. As I see it, that is the same distinction as for example a determined player, who gets a bonus when playing away. He does not get that bonus all the time, only in a specific case. When the player does not meet the criterium, he does not get the bonus. In case of a flat bonus, no criterium is mentioned.
Edit: You are of course correct that extra speed gives extra scoring. To be clear, I don't debate that. The debate is only when exactly he has that extra speed, because with the same logic no extra speed is no extra scoring. :)
