Level 10 youths (4713)
With that talent @Andrei he's not ever likely to be a decent keeper in the current game.
Having said that I don't think Short would be a problem. Keepers rarely claim corners anyway. And scoring from them seems pretty rare unless it's the lower divisions.
That's self inflicted. You need to change your youth centre settings.

@killik: you can choose your prefered attributes in youth centre settings like age, talen. At lv10 you can set 4 attributes (4x talent is the best, I think)
For the avoidance of any doubt, I was referring to the player being "too old".
You need to change the youth centre age settings.
As for the extra importance settings, I use 2x talent, 1x power and 1x speed in my level 10.
I didn't know you could choose some attributes multiple times. Good to know.
It tells you that directly under the settings:
* You can select skills that you want your youth trainers to focus on when selecting suitable players. New players will get a value in the higher half of the range for this skill. You can select the same twice to get a value in the highest quarter.
For youth centre 10 with a base talent of 4.40-5.00 this should give you:
- Extra importance (1) talent 4.7000-5.00 average 4.85
- Extra importance (2) talent 4.8500-5.00 average 4.93
- Extra importance (3) talent 4.9250-5.00 average 4.96
- Extra importance (4) talent 4.9625-5.00 average 4.98
So it's a diminishing return with every extra selection.
The alternative is to select one of the other fixed skills (endurance, speed, power) which have a base range of 2.75-5.00, average 3.875. Selecting them once would give you:
- Extra importance (1) fixed 3.875-5.00 average 4.44
This would give you, on average, an increase in one skill of 0.56 for a very small loss of talent.
