Unless you're counting U21 matches I doubt if either of these players holds the record. Bloothoofd had 45 1st team matches and Craft had 38.

I dont know what the demands are :) but indeed, he played a lot of u21 matches.

It's a bit of a con using all competitions.

A manager could just chase the record by bringing on an u21 player for the last few minutes of a first team game.

Fabiano Avellino played 61 1st team matches in all competitions, here:

34 League matches, 5 Cup and 21 International tournaments, which strangely only adds up to 60 not 61, lol! Not the record though as per your previous post.

My guess is that the stats don't include the Super Cup.  But that's a lot of continental matches!

Shame that it doesn't include NT games. Most of my players seem to get played in every tournament and interland game thanks to bad NT managers.

I don't know if this counts for anything but I just remembered something. The best manager that I used to play against in the Turks and Caicos League back when it still existed used to play his youth players for every single game! I vaguely remember seeing his players reach 70-75 games a season. The mad lad just never made his boys rest. Anyways, here's the last remanant of that era. Unfortunately, the rest of his teammates have withered away into the dusty annals of Rocking Soccer, but he's still here somehow!
