I have another question. 

Where does it state as as fact that it will take a lot more than 10 seasons to get the money for Stadium 11?

Interestingly, I've just started saving up for it.

I've been playing for 11 seasons so far with my random starter club. I certainly hope it doesn't take me another 10 seasons to find the money for Stadium 11.

I wish I knew. There are too many variables to be able to predict the timescales with any certainty. 

All I know is I'm going do it as fast as I can, although I will also spend some on other buildings. 

If things go really well, I think it may be possible to find the money in around 5 seasons or so. But it could take 10. 

The other problem is you need a lot more than the construction costs because of the loss of interest on the capital. This was discussed in another thread fairly recently.

So all in all a lot more than 10 seasons, yes?

If you can manage to achieve it in 5 seasons time then it will have taken 16 seasons.

But if you have less than £100m now in the bank then I guess around at least 10 more seasons and that is being generous.

So 21 seasons?

Not at all. 

The discussion was about how long it takes to "get the money" for Stadium 11.

And certainly not about being able to build Stadium 11 from the very start of the game. Many of the original users haven't achieved that after 50 seasons.

Well of course if you start with a team that is full of £300m players, already has stadium 10 and VIP 3 you could of course achieve it quicker.

But for a new team like yourself, It is impossible to get stadium 11 in 10 seasons from the start of the game.

Now as for saying you could get the money in 10 seasons, unless you are VIP 3 and can make £100m a season I do not see it happening.

Either way it is still a lot more than 10 seasons.

This is the same for the people that say you can catch up in a couple years, absolute rubbish, show me any team that has caught up in two years.

The money is just not there anymore for the mid level teams.

I went from £5m in the bank at the start of season 47 and just started building Stadium 11 at the very start if season 52. So I did it in 5 seasons.

I'm sure people can do it quicker. I farted around building museums and buying unsellable kids in between all that. I'm sure a more focused and financially astute manager can do it quicker.

@Alex Seymour, Are you sure? I must be reading it wrong but as I can see it Season 47 started in August 2019, since then you income from transfers is around £300 - £400m your outgoing transfers for the same period is £1.4b.

Excuse me if I have made a silly mistake but how is this possible?

@Eric Cantonais, of course not, but VIP 3 means you can sell more players each season, so it is easier to to earn more from transfers.

I see you mean your second team. Still a quick look shows only around £500 - £600m income.

Where did the money come from @Alex?

I see in your second team around £580m Incoming past five seasons with around £380m Outgoing past five seasons.

Where did the other £800m come from?

Look I must have missed something but I do not get it.

@Numpty, you are a numbers man, how did he do this? TV revenue is max £40m for the five seasons, Tickets is £20m per season? And his player sales is £40m average per season.

Thats around £340m, Stadium 11 costs more than this.

Just looked back at when i had a stadium level 10. Income ex transfer 300 miljon euro per season, expenses ex transfers 150. So you can make around 150 profit without any transfers. Doing that 5 seasons is 750 miljon euros.

Edit: that is if you don't make your TA and YA higher than lvl 10 before going to stadium lvl 11. Otherway around takes way longer
