It may seem like that after the last few days, but it doesn't happen very often. 

The real issue is the developer no longer spends any time on the game and just turns up to deal with anything major affecting the whole site.  Individual users with major problems get ignored.

It frustrates me a little that, with a VIP2 that runs out in 8 days and an intention to resume VIP1, there is no way of doing this without having to wait for my VIP2 to expire - which means that I cannot apply for manager of Australia until then.

Agreed - there should be an option to extend membership at a lower level, but that's unlikely ever to happen.

My second team has dreadful end of season: after having 13 points advantage over next teams it's now out of control. Yesterday's bot lineup cost 2 more points against dangerzone team and today's disaster ruined GD. Now we need another miracle tomorrow against #2 team and then win against very uncomfort team for us. 

...and 2 key players injured plus reserve defender suspended. Healing costs over 17M  and main mid is still out all remaining league matches.

So the update on my 54 year old GK https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-1218837:

Just as a reminder, being an old player, 3 seasons ago was his fist wage increase for several season (+16%)

I left him untrained for a season and he went from $22,482 to $23,405 (+4.1%)

I left him untrained for another season and he went from $23,405 to $24,063 (+2.8%)

I then spent all his XP and then continued to train him as normal and he went from $24,063 to $36,085 (+50%).

I can only assume that this means that for old GKs their wage is related to their value.

I will probably know more when my other old GK gets a bit older so I can do a comparison.
