Think I lost my last 851 bids when I wasn't the only bidder.

i dont worry too much, it would be more disturbing in the cup. i know one of those runs, it happens sometimes 5-6 matches a row, then everything will go back to normal.

should not have loaned out my 4th striker though...

Torres, you're certainly going down, I'm 100% positive. And you loved the change. :)

And yes, I'll watch every match I can and collect my little database of your preferences. I'm sure it'll come handy one day. :D

what do you mean by going down?

if balthazor had played 'minimize defeat' or 'play for a draw', i would have understood the result

'play for win' should mean that, yes, he will get more chances what he did, but also my strikers will have more space on the other side. that means they should take their chances better than usually, which was not the case. i considered trying a new match plan today, but kept it 'default' just yet :)

dont forget i have already won Super Cup comfortably this season vs 2nd best team in Estonia :D

I mean that you won't be as successful as previous seasons in Estonia or in Europe.

Super Cup was when everyone was still clueless.

In Europe i agree (if they reduced randomness it does make perfect sense as i have only 1 supertalent to play with compared to Koen´s and Nehemiah 50 of them), in Estonia i don´t agree. The league is not as competitive and active as it seems. Tartu, Veenus and Kosmos have strong teams, but it is very unlikely that they analyse their or opponents matches. Taavi probably does, but he is no competition as you know and as he knows. Balthazor may be tactically good, but his ability to keep his squad as weak as it was when he started keeps him just outside the top 5.

PS. Reinhard (playing from season 2, and having YC level 10 about seven or eight seasons now) discovered last week that he can also pull 14 year-olds. He needs to go down

:)

I didn't mean you'll go down a division. I meant figuratively. "You're going down!" :)

But I do understand what you're saying and you'll be able to disprove it.

"The chance a free kick results in a goal depends greatly on the passing skill of the person taking the free kick. Scoring helps a little bit as well."

@ Eddie Yes fair point but from the half way line when did you last see a free kick scored direct from the half way line. And also if a player who is not a set piece spelalist can score so easily from that distance how come my set piece specialist who has passing above 4..80 very rarely scores from a free kick from a reasonable distance.

Well, this is how ME works. It's not visually realistic but it's defined that way.

As for Set pieces specialist, it gives 1 ball bonus to passing for free kicks. So a 5-ball passing regular player is equal to 4-ball + set pieces player, assuming they have the same power. Then it comes down to dueling of defending and attacking players in the penalty area + GK skills.
