There is obviously a feeling of frustration coming so close (again), but it was always City's title to lose, and even when Villa were leading, Liverpool were not, so at no time did we actually have our hands on the trophy.
City's domestic dominance continues, but winning both cups and having the small matter of the Champion's League final to come, can hardly be classed as a poor season - Liverpool will have played in every possible game this season, so that alone is worth celebrating.
