First home match of the new season. The first one has  been lost, but that is not a real surprise. It was an away match against the best team in the league. We don't have many changes since last season, so our goal is 6th place and everything higher  is a bonus.

In the summer break, Pinkenhof 1225 has undergone some long needed changes. A new manager was appointed, and construction works have been started in order to bring our club to higher leagues after some 6 seasons. This season the main goal is to not get relegated, however, we seem to be the first or second contenders to do so. Following a depressing 0-4 loss, this will be our first home game this season, against Hokejs, which is a stronger team on paper. Despite the fact that last year we were next to each other in the table, there was a huge gap of points and quality that separated us.
