Does Koen have the highest wage player? :D I wanna know how much hes healing costs :D Also how high can his wage go :O Cost doesnt seem to be worth it though....wage system is bugged
Koen spends 145 million euro's (158 million dollars) every season on one player, meanwhile I spend 41 million euro's (45 million dollars) every season on my whole team... It's impressive how he can finance that.

I think I do. I haven't seen any player even close. On the contrary, his salary is still rising, and I think he might be more expensive then any entire team before long.
And yes, I think it is a bug. I think when the new formula for wages was made, it was not taken into account (properly) that keepers improve longer then fieldplayers. I know of at least one example of a keeper that is better, and also much more expensive in salary when he gets older.
But I have decided not to post this as a bug before his salary is higher then entire clubs I usually compete with. And of course, I agree with you that he is not worth it. But what can I do? I can't possibly sell him after all those costs, and at the moment he is actually going to be valuable for the team. I didn't know of this bug when I bought him, and now the only choice I have is to shoot myself in the left foot, or in the right foot. There is no way out.

How to finance that is not such a problem, that can be done. But once I was a frontrunner in buildings, now I am lagging behind. Most teams I compete with have two more buildings, either YA or FA. Their maintenance is even higher then mine. Financing such a player is not the problem, financing it and keeping up is what's impossible. At least, for me.

What criteria did you use to determine the best players?
I looked through all the national teams to find the best players, Joey Zyla.

I guess that by 'best', you mean the highest starvalue, right?
Star value is so easy to manipulate. Does not by any means indicate the best player but just a very good player.
Should I name it top 10 highest starvalue players to make it clearer?
Maybe.. As Kupus said, starvalue is easy to manipulate, and specials are not taken into account. And some other minor reasons as well. What the best players are is subjective, so avoiding that might be wise. And of course many people are very much interested in what the highest starvalues are too, so that would be a clear name for the list and avoiding all discussions :)
