Finances: Income

Sponsorship

Sponsorship money is initially your main source of income. You can get a sponsor contract by going to "finances"=>"sponsordeals". Once you have done this you have a steady flow of money that easily compensates your early maintenance costs and player wages.

The amount of sponsoring you can get depends on the league level you play in and the number of league levels in your country. You can also get higher sponsorship deals when you upgrade your account to V.I.P. status.

Stadium income

Stadium income includes the sale of tickets, but also food and beverages from the catering and merchandise from the fanshop. At first this will not amount to much, but where your sponsor income is relatively fixed your stadium income can be increased. Doing this is one of the most important tasks when working on getting your club to a higher level.

To get more stadium income you need to improve your stadium, the higher level it has, the more people can see your matches and the more they will pay for a ticket. You need to increase your fanbase to get enough people to actually want to see your matches though. Once your stadium is level 2 you can build the fanshop to do this.

Transfer income

This is simply the money received from players you sold to another club. 10% of the total transfer sum is paid for various fees/costs but 90% becomes available to invest.

TV-revenue

TV-revenue is a large sum of money paid at once at the end of each season. The amount of TV revenue your league receives depends on the level of the league and the total number of leagues in your country. It also depends on the number of teams in the league, a league with 20 teams gets twice as much tv-revenue as a league with 10 teams, this way the total amount of money per team does not depend on the size of the league.

This total sum of money is divided over the teams based on the amount of points the teams received that season. The more points you get, the more money you'll receive.

TV-revenue is paid after the last round of the league's regular schedule, before the playoffs start. Results in the playoffs do not (directly) affect the amount of TV-revenue you receive.

Prize money

Prize money is received when participating in tournaments, like the national cup or the champions league.

Prizemoney for the cup depends on the amount of teams participating and the round you reach. In total you can win perhaps half a year of sponsoring in this tournament.

The champions league and the europa league are very good sources of income. The eventual pricemoney you can earn in the champions league is based on the 2012/2013 UEFA prizemoney. This is however slowly built up over a period of 15 rocking soccer seasons. The prizemoney you can receive in these tournaments is increasing each year.

There is no difference in the prizemoney between the different continents, they are all based on the european tournaments.

Other income

Other income includes for example money received as part of the tutorial. This type of income is very infrequent.

Interest

The interest you receive depends on your Office. The higher your office, the higher the interest percentage. There is also a maximum amount over which you receive interest. This amount also depends on the level of your office.
