Thanks Stephen, Cloughie and Dragontao. Much appreciated. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before the Beach are back up there again, winning titles. Fabulous to see the Hoodies in Europe and good luck on the rebuild Dragontao. With the transfer window opening again tomorrow, let's see what that brings and then we can all go and do it again!

In the end, even if we had won at Seaburn it would not have been enough for the Title
It was a great fight against Scammondaoists, we made him doubt at the end but the logic is respected: Congratulations for your title of Champion Monk

Congratulations to the teams qualified for the European Cups and to Arsenal Football Club for its victory in the Espoirs Cup

We are satisfied with our season with this 2nd place and especially the victory in the Cup: Our team has gained strength during these return matches

Have a good break everyone

No rebuild for me. Endless cycle of stagnation had to end. Continually spending what little money I have to go nowhere is pointless.

Time to start stockpiling money until I can upgrade a couple of facilities.

Is Monk going to be the new Stephen or will Stephen become the old Stephen. Or will Stephen become the new Monk being the old Stephen.

Confused. You will be ...

Cheers Dragontao and Blackwhite.

I've still got a pencil and paper trying to work out who I am. I'm currently trying to become the new BakerMan, He was the last to win out three in a row, although since he's departed I don't want to do that so would rather become the old BakerMan. To become the old Stephen I'd have to win 23 consecutive titles. I've much more chance of finishing third and becoming the new Stephen, although that means Stephen would have finished somewhere else and I'd actually be the old Stephen but not the one with 23 consecutives. In the end I think it's best just to be little old me. Enjoy the window!

... about that not buying any players.

I really should stay away from my scout's office. 🤨

He is going to be difficult to stop next season. And a decent purchase price too

He's only on 2.3 million a week (gulp). Half of my entire squad's wage bill.

Edit:

Just did a quick calculation and, assuming I get a full stadium every week, without cup income being taken into consideration, I think I'm going to be between £25 and £30 million short a season.

5 players make up 75% of my wage bill. One of them will come off the books soon, possibly two of them.

So there's going to have to be some youth players sold to the bank.

A very ill thought out and impetuous (stupid) purchase. 🤣

In a hastily arranged press conference, Bolt On Wonderbras have announced that Club record scorer Claudio Grilo has mutually been told he will be trained up to take over running the club office or youth academy and has been retired from first team duties.

The 34 year old striker was disappointed with the decision, having wanted to reach the 450 goal mark, but was told his first team appearances would be limited in the season ahead and his £480k a week wages had to come off the books. He was also told the club was entertaining offeres from sides in the newly formed and prestigious Siberian league. Grilo was happy to accept the offer to train in the nice warm surroundings of the office as, at his age, the cold of the Siberian winter might play havok with his knees.
