In Holland we have created a friendly cup several seasons ago, the 8th edition has just been finished.
It's a great success for us, an easy way to get friendlies and get your -21 the friendly games they need.
I thought it would be much nicer if i created an international friendly cup.

We have used different setups (League mode, Knockout mode and Champions league mode)
Basicly, the rules are simple.

-You can only line up players that are eligable for your -21 squad.
-It's allowed to line up 2 dispensation players that are no longer eligable for your -21 squad, but only after agreeing with your opponent.
-By not following the rules an automatic 0-3 loss will be applied.
-When a player is substituted because of an injury by a not eligable player, this is allowed.
-If something went wrong with one of the formations and both teams agree on a replay, this is ofcourse allowed.

Please let me know how you guys think about this and whether i should organise something like this.

i was thinking about this kind of idea many season ago (by creating friendlycup website to see the tablo and match caldners and so on)
those kind of friendly cups are very popular in other manager games...
Btw im surprised by knowing some1 in RS makes cups liek that:) thats nice!
but dont u think the problem wont be - the tokens???

I would participate.
A Champions League format would be most interesting to me, if there are the proper number of participants.

@Sir Lelu, yes it's about the U21 squad. But with 'normal' friendly matches so not U21 friendly matches. Only players are allowed that can play in your U21 squad on that moment.

Tokens woudn't be a problem, cause most of the time teams have around 2-2,5 weeks to play 6 friendly matches. So friendly tokens are not a problem then.

I'll participate to! Champions league format would be the best in this case i think, or maybe Europea League format if the number of participants is very high.

I think if this thread would come under the attention of people, the patricipant number could be very high.

well..if we are talking about who will participate ..then count me in!

I think it will be easy if we make a list, and everyone who wants to participate just put themselve into the list.
