SEASON 84 RECAP

  1. FC Ulhasnagar had a flawless season, winning all 33 matches and scoring a staggering 233 goals while conceding just 5. Their dominance is unparalleled, reflected in their perfect win record and the best goal difference. They were in a league of their own, setting records and solidifying their legacy as one of the greatest teams.
  2. A solid performance from Goal Diggers, finishing second. They had a strong attack, scoring 158 goals, but couldn’t quite match FC Ulhasnagar’s consistency. Their defense was impressive, conceding only 16 goals.
  3. Mohun Bagan finished third with 76 points, thanks to 24 wins and a solid defense. They conceded just 19 goals while scoring 87, showing discipline and efficiency. Though they lacked the attacking firepower of the top two teams, their resilience and ability to secure results ensured a strong season. With a few more decisive victories, they could have mounted a stronger challenge for second place.

  4. With no draws in their season, Inazuma XI displayed an all-or-nothing approach. Their attack and defense were balanced, but their inability to draw or win tough matches hurt their points tally.
  5. Thundering Pune had a steady season, finishing fifth. Their defense (30 goals conceded) was commendable, but their attack (57 goals) lacked the firepower to challenge the top teams. With better goal-scoring, they could have pushed for a top-four finish. However, their consistency ensured they remained competitive throughout the season.
  6. Bengaluru FC had an inconsistent season, finishing mid-table. Their defense (45 goals conceded) was average, and their attack (49 goals) didn’t stand out.
  7. Air FC struggled defensively, conceding 112 goals, the second-worst in the league. Their attack (50 goals) wasn’t enough to offset their poor defense.
  8. FC Faridabad #2 ended eighth with 34 points, securing 10 wins and four draws. They scored 43 goals but conceded 71, showing vulnerabilities at the back. While they had moments of promise, their overall performances lacked consistency. To climb the table, they’ll need a more cohesive defense and a sharper attack. Despite their struggles, they avoided finishing among the bottom teams.
  9. Nepal Police Club finished ninth with 27 points in a challenging season. They managed seven wins and six draws, but their attack scored only 28 goals, while their defense leaked 84. Their struggles on both ends of the pitch left them far from competitive. Improvements in creativity and defensive organization will be necessary if they hope to rise in the standings next season.
  10. Mariners struggled throughout the season, finishing tenth with 20 points. They won just six matches and conceded 138 goals, the highest in the league. Their attack was equally underwhelming, with only 25 goals scored. They were often outclassed by opponents and failed to find any consistent form. Rebuilding their squad and focusing on defensive stability will be essential to avoid a similar season.
  11. FC Etah had a dismal season, finishing 11th with just nine points. They managed only two wins and conceded 153 goals, the second-worst defensive record.
  12. FC Baahubali finished last with eight points, enduring a nightmare season. Conceding 170 goals, the most in the league, and scoring just 29, they were outplayed in nearly every match. With only two wins and two draws, their campaign highlighted severe weaknesses in both attack and defense. Major changes will be needed to make them competitive in future seasons.

Great round-up again, mister Arpit. And great performance by Thundering Pune btw!

Difficult opening against Eckhart today for me, but happy I could stay out of trouble last season. I am busy to update my stadium. 90 days to go is quite hard nonetheless. But, I got further then I did with Vianden in Luxembourg.

I don't expect problems in terms of possible relegation for my team. But my goalie is getting slightly weaker, so I tried a few cheaper purchases in to stay out of troublen. With two weaker squads, that shouldn't be an issue.

GL to all...

Great Round up Arpit-bhai

My main and reserve squads are full after my youth academy had triplets in a day and a half, making it 4 players in 7 days. That makes it less than likely that I will buy players.

My stadium will finally be ready in 3 days- give or take a few hours. I agree  with Bartje that it's a long wait.  We lost to Goal Diggers as expected but  a win vs the club from that other country that isn't even  ;)  makes it a good start to the season.

GL everyone!
