It looks like if you let the assistant coach pick the tactics
he picks no-shooting short passes instead of the default values.
I learnt that when I could not set tactics for the R32 today.

Thats a huge flaw unless the intent is to penalize managers who are not active enough or let real life get in the way.
If thats the intent just give the opponent a 5-0 result by default
