samedi juin 22 - 10:16 Just to comment on DAFKE's keeper, Durrance.

As you can see his wage was a little under £11 million per week. These are my own observations and not from his manager.
After buying the player, for what he probably thought was a bargain price, he found that the wages were unsustainable and tried to sell him on many occasions, but there were no buyers. He then de-trained the player to reduce the wages which came down slowly (10% per season), so when the changes kicked in and he announced his retirement he had a large amount of unspent xp. From memory he had a star value of around 40+ and his wage was £5+ million.
Given that the player was retiring then he obviously decided to spend all the accumulated xp for one final season. The star value rocketed to 78.00 and the wages doubled. That's the maximum possible increase, so the 'correct' wage would have been much higher and club's finances would eventually have been crippled.
In short, the fact that DAFKE won the Champions League was a direct consequence of the changes and almost certainly would not have happened without his impending retirement.
