Season 57: forecasts, facts, opinions... (33)
Hello everyone,
I didn't see a new topic dedicated to the new season; so here it is. What are your plans this upcoming games and which facilities will you expand?
Personally I want to upgrade my stadium and youth facilities. I will almost have a super talent too. I see myself finishing lower midtable.
I would want to add that we have two more active and new managers in our league. Hopefully they stick around.
Currently I am the BC for India this season. My debut was very bad, losing eleven goals difference against China. Our first pre-qualification game went lost 0-5 against Taiwan. Tonight we were beaten 3-0 by Bhutan. Less goals against our side, but 0 shots on target.
Just after midnight we have an encounter with Switzerland. They are slightly better than us, but not much. I decided to give some other guys some chances to play, because off the risk of injuries on our top players and because some of them are quite tired after the first NT-match today and because they are key players in their teams, which have a game tomorrow.
I hope to get to see a first Indian goal in this campaign.
New season, new goals!
I aim to prolong the title in India. I noticed that this year the competition is getting stronger, also more active managers so good news
My team will stay unchanged, the three older guys will start the season and we will see till when i can keep them before they are getting sold :)They are getting worse but my youngsters are getting better so this should keep my strenght in check.
Continental i hope i can get into the group stage of the asian competition. Lets hope for a better draw in the qualifications.Last year was a faillure because i was seeded against a Chinese team and we all know how that goes...
Financially/infrastructure I will focus this season in expanding the museum and racking up cash to expand my youth facilities. I hope i can start construction next season.
Good luck to all of you guys!
May the only bot drop to devision two at the end of the season ;)
I want to build up my team slowly and I am not hurried to do it.I will go step by step and slowly increase my facilities and improve my squad without giving burden to my finance
Holy smoke, for the first time in ages, the first division exists out of active managers!!!
Well for me my players are very bad I got some on loan still let's hope I don't get relegated... Just building my YC and TC till my late start bonus ends....
Very happy dat new managers like tamilan find their way to all forums. ;-)
Btw @tamilian: your team is not terrible bad, but lacks a bit strongness on multiple players. The midfield is good enough, but in defense and attacking field you lack a spare strong player for when your best guy in these lines drop out due to injury or suspension.
And a new goalkeeper could do miracles for you. With a good one you could have won our direct duel. I was lucky to get the three points out of our encounter. ;-)
Nice to see lots of activity in here these days...
@Arko: that's what I miss with my 1st club in Luxembourg, Vianden. But the club has become so big in facilities that it would be a shame to let it get wasted by leaving it.
Anyways: very happy with my season so far. I won the matches I could win and got 4 unexpected points by a win against Bengaluru FC and a draw against FC Etah.
The Indian national team played a couple of days ago in the stadium of FC Etah, Sincity. We lost 2-4, but a couple of other guys got their chance to play and took it.
I had to make the next broad selection of players and only did one change: defender Pranesh Muthukaruppan (WIBU FC) has been dropped out, right winger/midfielder Jacob Vikul is the new kid on the block. Both are 29 and I made the choice for an extra midfielder because of the injury of star midfielder Indra Veer. By doing so the chinese club of FC shanghai HD now has 2 players in our national team: Vasco Mourao (second goalie) and Vikul. This last player has 6 specialities and has a very decent skill in playmaking. I chose him just before Kalicharan Medha from the well known squad of Goal Diggers. They managed to beat FC Ulhasnagar this week as you could may have seen...
So our next game is against Macau, who managed to win both of the two games they've had in our group 4. Taiwan, Bhutan and Macau succeeded in getting 6/6. We have 0 points, just like Bahrein and the Maldives.
Indra Veer will be missed hugely in the next game, so we will probably again try to limit the damage by playing 5-4-1. Just after that match we have another international encounter with Brazil. I will use the last game to rotate other selection players.
BTW: we have no bots anymore in 1st division! FC Delhi has found a new manager with the Indian flag behind his name.
Lets hope all managers are active for whole season
Forgot to set orders for the youth cup SF...
Cost me the game & probably the tournament as well...
@Arko: that sucks, but I guess everyone has a game of some games he forgets to put a line-up or a decent line-up for ;-)
India has a match against Barbados. A lot of players are very tired, so this match comes too soon, but they will play against the qualifier game tonight. Unluckily two decent youthfull stars are injured, but it is what it is.
Our midfield is becoming quite decent, even on international levels. And Veer can still make a little bit progression. Cebola will be a good defending midfielder for the NT and a certitude for a few seasons.
Personal: Amritsar still doing very decently, but continental foorball is still above my league. I will invest a little bit money to strenghten the defending block. I got some points against better teams, but winning is difficult. Training facility is rising to level 6, than stadium will be increased a level soon.
Tonight another qualifier game, in which we are NOT that chanceless. The Maledives' team has a better defence than us, but their goalkeeper is not that brilliant. Ours is neither, but I decided to take some risks tonight. It will not be a totally predictable line-up, but I want to try something to gain points or score at least one or more goals. Kick-off in about an hour of three.
