My remaining first half games are against the 2,6,7,12,16th ranked teams. Will be surprised if I win more than 3/5. Valentine should take a small lead going into the 2nd half.

Thanks, likewise. I wasn't happy to see that draw either. Especially after getting knocked out of the Cup by Fieras in our first match. By the way - how does that matchup happen in our first round in the Cup?

The match system is pretty flawed

I'm happy to still be alive in the U21 Youth Cup. I've had horrible luck in the youth cup. I either have a bad team or have a good team that gets upset (though not for a while).

I think I have a winnable match in the next round. If I can steal one more one, then I'll have a decent team to compete in the U21 Champions Cup since most of my better players are 20.

I'm surprised by my team's performance in the Cup and League this season since my team is so old.

At the halfway point I am as close to Riverhounds as I've been in 10 seasons. I still get to play them at home later this season.

I am hoping it'll be a nail biter.

After 19 months playing RS and starting from scratch with zero popularity, the Colonials finally made the first page (Top 25) of overall popularity for the US. Still a long way to go, but a nice milestone along the way.

Getting to the first page is a big deal - great job! Battling up through the popularity rankings kept me going in the first few seasons when it seemed like my club would never catch the front runners (which we still haven't really).

Thanks guys! Now the real grind begins as the steps forward will be much smaller and sometimes even backwards. Plus, the top 25 are generally moving forwards as well, many at an even faster rate. Makes the game interesting.

I've lost to the Riverhounds three times this season. Twice in league matches and once in the cup. This isn't an unusual story.

All three losses have been 1-0. In the cup he scores in the 90th minute and in todays league match, he scored in the 86th minute. Just when this game gives you a little hope, it snatches it away. I guess that I'll always have that one win over Riverhounds...season 18.

Popularity is the one thing that the Polar Bear Council FC still does well. I have a nice cushion in the United States and North America. I've also moved up to #17 on the global level. I think #10 is not an unreasonable target in the next few seasons.

My second team is also already in the top 50% of North American teams for popularity.

One of my goals is to immediately start selling out my stadium once I finally reach level 11.

One thing I might have to worry about is that more of my opponents might have only 40-% of my popularity over time, but enough popularity can compensate for that too.

At some point it should be possible to sell out all games against all teams, making further popularity unnecessary, except to offset popularity decline.


I only need 1 more office upgrade, 3 more health center upgrades, and 1 more stadium upgrade (likely next) before I have nothing to build but my museum.

Cdowne - you have a good chance to beat me 3 times this season considering our youth cup quarterfinal and 2 league matches.

I don't know I'll stay in it long enough for it to be the case but I'm hoping the league comes down to my next riverhounds matchup.
