Season 65 (79)
Hello everyone, new season, new plans, goals and ambitions.
First of all our transferstrategy for this season: We sold Jardine and Condit (went to goal diggers, so i am happy for that and wish him luck!). We still need to sell Sadwhani, Maneesh and Cortes. We have the replacement already through our own youth.
Aim was to get bigger reserves to get the max interest. At the moment we are 2/3d filled so still some money needed to collect.
Considering we are getting some more youth in the team, our goals are slightly less this season. Continental we want to get into the groupstage and advance as second in the group. In the national competition and cups we are going for the victory.
With the national team we are going fully for the best results, We still don't have the best team but we made major progress. I remember we had a team with an avarage of bareley 14 stars. Now we are around 20!
Furthermore i wish everyone a lots of luck and a very good and most important, fun season!
FC Ulhasnagar
Eckhart sold some older players to maintain enough money to pay for his high wages and keep his finances healthy. Noah Jardine left India, midfielder Charles Condit (16 years, YA14-product) was transferred to Goal Diggers for 4.071.968.200 rupees.
The team is dominant in all departments. At the moment the midfield is the strongest part of the squad, with Randalf Woodrum (27,9 quality) and Fabio Cebola (21,2) as thriving motors. The goalie also is the strongest one in our league. Chisubo Mwaruwari Mushangazhike starts his 7th season within the troops of Eckhart, thereby seeking his 5th award for best keeper (most clean sheets) around in India.
Lastly it will be interesting to see wether striker Harshavardhan Gaekwad can become topstriker of the league for a 2nd time in a row. He defeated Sit Got from Goal Diggers last year, despite having less quality then last named player (16,45/18,95).

Mohun Bagan
Arko fought out a nice duel with Art of Bar from Goal Diggers but became 2nd last season. The two sides had some gap between the 4th team (Bengaluru FC), but could both also not threaten Ulhasnagar to win the league.
No tranfers were made yet in this period, but the manager can rely on good facilities (TA and YA both 13, which is higher than most concurrents) and the 2nd highest popularity (almost 7.000.000).
The team is strong in every part of the field, but their keeper is extraordinary. Aleksey Sadov (17,5 quality) will start his 3rd season for Bagan. Being only 30 years of age, he will remain a steady factor for the core squad of the team. Recentely bought defender Vicente Cifuentes (19,5) will make sure the squad won't concede lost of goals against.
Ex-Ulhasnagar forward Malcolm Veil (18,1) scored less goals than in his first season for Bagan. Curious to see if he has the stamina to be back on his top notch level again. Utkarsh Kaushal must be one of Arko's favorites: he is the star playmaker of the team with a quality of 16,7 and still is in India's NT.

Goal Diggers
Not a lot of Indian teams are very active in this transfer period. Certainly not when it comes to buying high-quality players to strenghten the squad. Art of Bar did bought Charles Condit from Ulhasnagar, as mentioned earlier. He is hardworking and patriottic, which suits the team well. We will see how he develops.
The star of the team has been striker Sit Got for a long time. He starts his 6th season within the ranks of the club. He won the prize for best striker (most goals in the league) 4 times in a row, but previous year he 'lost' the battle (same amount of goals however) against Gaekwad from Ulhasnagar. Other key player is Khaswaho Tabua (quality 21,65) on the midfield. He should be good enough for 35-45 assists again for sure.

Bengaluru FC
One of the most classic and iconic Indian clubs around, managed by a very experienced, loyal and communicative managers: Keju.
Keju has spend quite some money in order to stay competitive with the best clubs in India. Midfielders Francois Vivers (16 quality), David du Beaumais (10,8 quality) and Jean Marie Rochefort (13,05 quality) are three French playmakers, but the strongest move is the signing of Rene Duchatelet (16,65 quality). He leaves the Belgian top division club Thor Waterschei for Bengaluru FC.
The transfers were needed to keep up with his direct concurrents, the forward line still is strong enough to compete; but is slightly weaker in comparison of the three previous described clubs.
Small side story: Toa Adachi currently is a staff member for FC Faridabad #2. But in season 59 he was topscorer of the Indian league for Bengaluru FC. That season they became the league champions too. It was the only gap in a long row of league victories for Ulhasnagar.

Inazuma XI
This club is managed by a horizontal figure '8' by a foreign manager from Russian nationality. They did quite well last season according to their qualities. They haven't been very active on the transfer market lately, but they do were spending quite a lot of money in January this year to get some reinforcements for the team.
Aarre Sinkkonen (13,8 quality) is their strong goalie and defender Hélio Bensàude forms the strongest brick in their defensive wall. That wall isn't too strong when one pieces collapses, so that is a rather weak spot compared to other top clubs. Krupal Dhawan (12,95 quality) will have his 2nd season for the club. The experienced striker (almost 32) relanced his career in India with 40 goals in 33 matches. Can he still reach those numbers in season 65?

FC Nagercoil
Tamilian is a man with a mission. He changed his managername into tami!_an and, more importantly, is mainly focussing on gaining money to upgrade facilities. He bought some young talents in december to train and (I think) sell again with some profit.
Joss Carther (14 quality) is their strongest backbone in the defensive line, Qutuz Abbasi (13,75) and striker Kapeni Sobukwe (12,7) could make the A-team of other top clubs also. But here: they are outstanding, but also not missable. If they can't play, the reimplacement is not that great. Sobukwe also had his worst season in 5 season, making 'only' 31 goals out of 29 games.

FC Baahubali
Dwapar is a fighter, that's one thing you can say. He survived many play-downs, often winning against the unlucky Nepal Police Club. But they made a step forward last season: they were never in danger to relegate and ended up 7th. The ambition, as mentioned by the manager, is to do something about the goal difference. I think that is decreasing the amount of goals they receive against them. Seeing that Essam Beddounk remains their goal guard (5,9 quality); that will be quite a challenge. He did however doubled his amount of clean sheets last season. From 2 to 4, but with an extra active team the concurrence will be higher.
The only foreigner is their star player. Seti Ziouda was close to being the topscorer in seasons 58 and 60 in division 2 of India. Last season, he made 14 goals. That is quite average, but he also turns 32 soon.
Dwapar has the nice policy of gaining money by selling his own youth products at the righteous age and is increasing his Training Academy at the moment.

FC Faridabad #2
The club with the smallest club popularity in 1st league is FC Faridabad. It even is smaller then bot team FC Delhi en runner-up Mohun Bagan AC. But I consider myself to be an experienced manager and able to keep this ship sailing in 1st division. It is my third season with the club: I gained promotion from 2nd to 1st division in season 63 and ended up 8th in my first time (with this club) in season 64.
I feared the arrival of two new teams in the first league, so I strenghtened the squad with some older blokes this season. The two most important ones are Abbas Poormand (36 years old, even older than myself). Besides this striker I also replaced my goalie. Pino Zanotti will leave Magico Estoril Praia (2nd division in Portugal) to defend our goal area. I paid around 350.000.000 rupies for them each.
My office is quite new, I made two older guys staff and I am currently increasing my office from level 2 to 3.

Viktor is another clever Indian manager who is focussing on training young talents and sell them to generate more incomes for the club. He loanes three great players to defend the colours of the team previous season, but hasn't done this for this season...yet. An average goalie and Koki Sunshi (7,1 quality) are the strongest guys in the not so impressive backline. They do have a lot of talented kids in the front, let's see how that works out for them. One guy I keep an eye on: the 19-year old Vai Nambuka. Mainly because of the teamname of the previous owner: FC Kick in Ass. Love it!

Thundering Pune
Mr. Arpit has known way more better seasons than season 64. In season 56 they became 3rd. They did end up for continental places regularly. But last season was the worst since a long time, but one can only say: the only way is up. The experienced manager also did the big stadium increase from level 9 to 10. Already having decent TA and YA levels there is nothing to worry about. This traditional club is here to stay.
What however intrigues me is the fact that the team only has 3 midfielders in it's squad for the moment. I wonder why? There is some basic quality in the back, some in the front. But nothing great to be honest. Star player remains the 27-year old Ta-kai Chao (10,2 quality). So, it will not be easy to score lots of goals against Pune, since Chao is a goalkeeper.

FC Delhi
It is a shame that Nepal Police Club didn't manage to bridge the gap and come to 1st division at last. They have been so close so many times. The slaughters from FC Delhi decided otherwise. This bot ship keeps on sailing for the moment.
This club still has some facilities left, one average striker in the name of Ladislav Tomasek (6,6 quality). One important thing to note is the arrival of loaned star midfielder Nueden Tamang. A YA15-product stalled in a bot squad. So this bot team will be able to score against weak defensed teams this season.

I finish this longread with the arrival of a new team on the block and a new Indian manager in first division. Great job beating Nepal Police Club in division 2, dear Amal. Let's see if you have the necessary ressources to survive your first time in division one. It will be far from easy, because the expected purchases didn't arrive...yet. I am worried that this team won't be enough to be really safe from direct danger.
The goalie is okay. His name is Karl Stadelman and has a quality of 7,85. Max Tondri is a certitude in the front with a mediocre quality of 6,5. He was topscorer in 2nd division of Canada in season 59 and scored 55 goals in 68 games for Inazuma XI in season 61-63. But today he is 35 and worse compared to my veteran striker.

What a analysis Bartje !!!!!!!! Throughly enjoyed it.
All the best to all active teams in this season .Don't get disheartened by huge loss specially lower ranked team (including me ).You will certainly reached their level as you progressed.
@bart - yet again a masterpiece - i said it a while back we need a weekly report from you. Insightfull and youve certainly done your research.
'a very experienced, loyal and communicative managers'- wow thanks a bunchhh :)
Glad to see adachi still helping teams.
If anyones wondering how to beat ulhasnagar once pick the season which eckhart plans to rebuild (although considering his facilities and squad thats probably never going to happen)
Due to inactivity my squad has degraded so i need to buy a few more players. But thanks to you guys my stadium has generated record funds last season!
Well written Bartje...
No transfer activity from my team until now,but I am looking to offload atleast 3 players including Cifuentes...
Also, will try to loan in 2 players...
Goal is to finish in top 3...
wow nice job @bartje i was very much inactive last season due to real life works ,,,, hehe anyway i got my stadium to 10 .....
Thanks for the compliments. Happy to share this with you and keep this community alive.
@Tamilian: a real life besides RS??? :-P
Stadium 9 to 10 is a huge step, so you have been saving a lot. No wonder that maybe had some influence on the competion ranking. But progress in the long term is the most important thing.
YA now i have to start to save again for stadium 11 , and got my vip 3 star till may 9 th as i have started working since january i think i can afford 3star vip .........
wow well written Bartje! Since my tteam is not going to win a lot this season, I m hoping to get the stadium built I have been trying to replace Karl Stadelman and Max Tondri but it's not been easy with scout academy at level 1. But I look forward to an interesting season especially if the forum is active.
Awesome work Bartje!! I was looking forward to a fully human managed league.
My team is a bit low on finance especially since the Management is ready to allow me to upgrade the stadium. And my team is full ,so I needed to sell a few players before l could loan This season my team would have scored between 5-7 points without any loanees. I now have my loan players so I will be aiming for 18 points to breakeven.
Hi guys is upgrading stadium to lv11 really profitable? With lv 10 stadium against FC BAHUBALI with all tickets sold I could fill only 90k as the maintanence cose of lv11 stadium is higher than lv10 stadiums ....... .... Stadium 11 is it really profitable? ....
it is , its like a 2x in your stadium revenue and considering this league is only getting more active your stadium will fill.
cant believe we have pulled of a victory against goal diggers although a very close game.unexpected win
If you get only 90000 attendees in every one of the 16 matches of the season, you will make 560 million RS rupees less if you upgrade. But with an average of 122k attendees in each of your 16.5 home matches(you don't need 122k in every one just an average), you will make more money per season with a level 11 stadium than a level 10 stadium.
Yesterday we had the classic Undertaker vs Undertaker match(https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/match-21854072). And since the impostor lost as per the prematch agreement they have to now wrestle under the name Macha Mariners :-)
Auwtch Amal, well hope the new name brings more luck. You did had a good start already this season. Same for Inazuma XL, unexpected that he isnt beaten yet. Gg on that :)
Here all is going according to plan.
