It's difficult to be humiliated when everyone expects you to loose.
They spent nearly 70 million £ this season,so i wouldn't say everyone expect from them to loose.Thats a lot of money
Who in their right mind does not expect Man utd to loose?
those who payed that 70 million...and they have a history and a big club,of course they know that bayern is the favorite but i dont think they espect to loose,that would be very unprofessional.
Everybody are predicting 6-0 or more aggregate score for Bayern so even if tis only 4-0 or 2-0, it will still be a good result for Utd.
Or. . . it cud also be 1-2 aggregate for Utd or. . .1-4 who knows!!!

Some example: France humbling great Brazil 3-0 in 1998 World Cup final, Denmark winning the Euro 1992, Wigan beating Man City in last season FA Cup Final, Blackburn winning the FA Premier League in 1995 & on it goes. . .
