Toronto FC drew to Philadelphia Union 1-1 @ home. TFC came back in later in the game, but failed to take advantage this game that they had 2 games in hand over Eastern Conference leaders, New York City FC. A win would have seen TFC create a 2 point lead over NYCFC with a game in hand over them, but instead Toronto moved to first place, only on goal difference. On the bright side though, Toronto still has a game in hand over NYCFC, so Toronto next game vs. Orlando can make a 3 point lead over NYCFC.

I started to watch the second half of Vancouver Whitecaps FC vs Colorado Rapids @ BC Place. It has been a very exciting game so far, it started off with Vancouver Whitecaps FC scoring in the 51' with Kendall Waston, the 'caps defender, scoring his 3rd goal of the season off a header from a corner kick. Just 5 minutes later, the same man who scored Kendall Waston, trips Dominique Badji in the box, committing a penalty, Kendall Waston was also sent off (given a straight red card), a bittersweet day for Kendall Waston I'll say! Shkelzen Gashi, the Albanian international, Colorado Rapids striker steps up to take the penalty, and buries it it in the bottom left corner on the PK kick. Colorado is up 2-1. Whitecaps a man down in the 70', a pass goes to Pedro Morales, Morales taps to ball in the back off the net. Once again, Shkelzen Gashi, steps up to take a free kick, and Shkelzen Gashi kicks one of the best free kick goals I have seen in Major League soccer! And then with 30 seconds of the match to go 'caps still with 10 men, Eric Hurtado, heads the ball off the line, but just in, to give the 'caps the 3-3 tie! 2 goals with a man down by the Whitecaps shows a lot of character by them!
