Tbh Spanish corrupt football association has nothing to say about that. If a player wants to leave, and target club has already confirmed the players wish, then he can leave. Obviously the spanish association also gets percantages from every transfer, so I don't see why they are against it, rather than Barca paying to keep Neymar.

If this grows into a bigger scandal then its just more bad light on Spain :/

It's obscene, football has been losing its soul for some time, now it has sold it to the devil.

True but if we wouldn't have monopolies, we'd have lower coverage. I doubt that Premier League or any league would pay as much to independant channel for broadcasting few games.

What are blathering on about now Holt.

You really should stop  regurgitating tripe you hear elsewhere, you just make yourself look stupid time and time again with the complete and utter drivel you spout.

Firstly, Costa's transfer is not new. He was sold in the last window but couldn't play for A.Madrid until January due to their transfer ban. If he's unfit it's because he hasn't been training properly with them. He wanted to leave, nobody's fault but his own.

Costa scored plenty for Chelsea, even in his last season. So there's no way Chelsea could be accused of ruining him anyway.

See this page http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/transfers

Scroll down to 26th September.

You're a tad behind everyone else when it comes to this transfer news.

Secondly, this myth Chelsea ruined Torres is ridiculous.

Chelsea didn't break Torres, they bought a player who never recovered his form after his injuries at Liverpool. He was poor from the very moment he arrived at Chelsea. A vanity purchase by Abramovic in the same vein as Shevchenko, strikers with their career in decline, both of which never recovered the blistering pace which was a major part of their game and without which they were bang average.

Torres' injury problems are a matter of record. He had knee surgery whilst at Liverpool, plus hamstring issues. Those problems resurfaced at Chelsea.

https://www.transfermarkt.com/fernando-torres/verletzungen/spieler/7767

Some of Torres' misses were woeful (away at Utd being the worst), the coaching at a club doesn't do that to a player and considering how many coaches Chelsea used to get the best out of Torres, including the likes of Ancelotti and bringing in Benitez under who he had his best spell at Liverpool.

But anyway, let's look at his record.

For Liverpool between 2007/08 and 2010/11 he scored 81 goals in 142 appearances (all competitions).

2007/08 - 33 goals (24 in 33 in the league)

2008/09 - 17 goals (14  in 24 in the league)

2009/10 - 22 goals (18 in 22 in the league)

2010/11 - 9 goals  (9 in 23 in the league)

He was in decline when Chelsea paid ridiculous money for him in the January window. The only consolation being Liverpool didn't do a great deal with that money  (yes, yes, they bought Suarez but what did he win at Liverpool? Oh and they wasted £35 million on Andy Carroll).

He still managed 45 goals in 172 games in total for Chelsea (including helping them to a Champions League win), but his last season form at Liverpool and effects of his injuries carried over. Nothing to do with what Chelsea did.

But come on Holt, please explain how Chelsea ruined Torres.

@Dragontao is correct.  Torres was already out of form when they bought him.  He lost a step from his injuries and the pressure of being a record transfer really seemed to weigh on him.  I'd cringe watching him because you could see that he really did want to do well but the harder he tried, the worse it came off.  He lost confidence and never recovered.

@Dragontao Well then you should have never bought him then.A 'vanity' buy isn't an excuse.l

Balotelli was supposed to be a replacement for Suarez ,who failed.Sad guy.So much talent and such good character.Thankfully he found his form back at Nice.

No justification.

Edit-I mixedup Carroll and Balotelli.Couldn't remember which one was it and I didn't have enough time to recheck.Pls STFU and stop pouncing on my posts .The Torres thing was supposed to be banter until you made it serious.

"Well we shouldn't have bought him then"

Great justification of your claims Chelsea broke him. Chalk another one up to the Holt book of nonsense. You could rival Edward Lear, except his was deliberate.

Now for the second sentence of your latest bit of drivel.

"Carroll was a replacement for Suarez". Really?

Remember the part where I said you make yourself look stupid time and time again.

You don't even know your own club's dealings.

Andy Carroll signed for Liverpool from Newcastle in January 2011 for £35 million.

Luis Suarez signed for Liverpool from Ajax in January 2011 for £22.8 million.

Andy Carroll left Liverpool for West Ham, initially on a season loan in August 2012 and then on a permanent deal in June 2013.

Suarez left Liverpool for Barcelona in July 2014.

You can click on the individual player links for their personal records.

So come on Holt. Explain how Carroll was a replacement for Suarez.

You really should do your research before posting your drivel Holt, your lack of knowledge even about the club you claim to support is quite remarkable, so you shouldn't really spout off about other clubs.

So having a life mans a simple fact like mixing up Balotelli and Torres is difficult. A simple fact to recall, as I did, about your chosen team's history and we know how Liverpool fans like to talk about history.

It's not called having a life, it's called retaining basic knowledge. Not to mention the ability to consider the real facts instead of regurgitating drivel you've probably heard other Liverpool supporters repeat.

Good job you had time to look up the facts this time.

Though a poor attempt to cover up what should have been a simple bit of knowledge in failing miserably to justify your earlier ridiculous post about Chelsea being the ones to ruin Torres.

Perhaps if you diodn't post absolute nonsense, there'd be no need to correct it in the first place.

Nothing to do with being a hero (another ridiculous statement from you). It's just tiresome seeing the same delusional rubbish repeated over and over regarding Torres. Then more morons continue to regurgitate it because they saw it written somewhere by a previous moron who also didn't have the capacity for original thought and to consider the real facts.

@Holt you should be happy that Chelsea paid what they did for him.  It got you Suarez (...and Carrol).  Suarez literally almost won you guys a title and was/is one of the very best Forwards, in the world.   That's called smart business when you get a better, younger player for less money than you recieved for your agining, damged, club legend.

What wasn't smart was how they used all of that money.  Spreading it around on B level players like Lovren, Moreno, Lallana, Markovic, Origi.  Not saying they're bad but none of those guys have proven to be top players. The amount of money wasted on Balotteli, Beneteke and Caroll is not terrific, either.

Only in the last 3 seasons have they started making better purchases (Not sure about Ox even if he is English).   Part of the reason for this is similar to why Borussia Dortmund gets top young talents.  The players join knowing that if they continue to progress, they eventually will be allowed to leave for greener pastures while the club makes a large profit in the process.  (see Ousmane Dembele/Mkhytarian/Gundogan/etc).  Liverpool have a similar reputation and I don't think that's a bad thing in the modern game.

Just like the time will come for Julian Weigl to make a move away from Dortmund, the time will come for Coutinho to head to Barca.  Just be happy that your team is making a big transfer profit and hope that they invest that back into the club.

Also be happy that players like Roberto Firmino and Virgil Van Dijk are choosing Liverpool instead of other options.  The assurance of playing time is a strong factor for alot of guys.

Hecnce w are getting Trapp and Goretzka.

Leon Christoph Goretzka (German pronunciation: [ˈleːɔn ˈɡoːʁɛtskaː]; born 6 February 1995) is a German professional footballer who plays as amidfielder for Bundesliga club Schalke 04 and the Germany national team.

Goretzka is referred to as one of the brightest football talents in German football.[22][23] Peter Neururer, Goretzka's head coach at VfL Bochum, said that he had "never seen an eighteen year old footballer which had a potential as Goretzka" and titled him as the "talent of the century".[24] Goretzka has a potent eye for scoring goals and is known to possess good ball control ability and also has the ability to pick out passes for his teammates.[25]Goretzka produces powerful shots from outside the penalty area, a trait similar to that of Paul Scholes.[25] He is also well known for his excellent heading ability which sees him often score headed goals.[25] At 6 feet 2 inches, Goretzka's high-jumping ability helps him to win aerial battles even against the strongest and tallest defenders.[23]Goretzka can be deployed as a defensive midfielder, as well as a left or rightwinger and in the position ofplaymaker.[23][26]
