In the champion league 1/4 finals draw, Is follow the rules“ Teams from the same country were drawn in the different group”? In real life Euro Champion League haven't this rule in 1/4 finals draw.

Ruud VanNistelrooy is correct; in the quarter finals there is no ban on playing against someone of your own association. Though I don't know if the present pairing system does ban that, we only know that no parings between teams of the same association were generated in this draw.

The semi-finals of Asian Champions League have three chinese teams and in Europe also have three Dutch teams in semi-finals. If the 1/4 finals draw will always follow this rule, I think in future maybe the last four teams will be all form Chinese league, the same with the Netherlands. And China and other countries will be increasing the champion league points gap.

I thought it was only "free" from semi-finals onwards. I've changed it now though, thanks for pointing me to this.
