I love it when server issues cause the lineup you set for your match to be magically taken away and a mysterious lineup is set in which no way resembles the lineup you would use...

But hey Congrats... I am sure I have earned a few of those uhhmm * cough victories cough *
Sockem my result today in the Cup where I won where in all honesty I had no business winning is proof this game is beyond fu%$ed...5 seasons ago I had a team that in no disrespect was twice the team you have now....I ended up with 1 point in League.....a tie...one tie....It sucked...But now for whatever reason teams like yours and mine to a degree take points on a regular basis from top teams....If we are supposed to mirror real life leagues then yes...Everey once in awhile upsets happen...But this is beyond stupid...Your team should barely be able to compete here......It's frustrating and it happens not only here but in my satellite team leagues as well...This is not in any way a slight to you as a Manager....You have done an amazing job with what you have...actually far better then I did....But something changed...and not for the better in this game...
My advice is don't get too caught up in who you beat and who you don't. Random will always hit your team a couple times per season. I don't completely agree about our division becoming weaker, though. I think teams like yours have caught up a bit and Lujan is just in a "Win Everything" mode. When 2-9 seeds play each other, any team can win.
If I recall, I drew or lost to you Sockem in our neutral site match, at the end of last season which put you ahead of Poppo. I played a strong lineup and couldn't score which was insane. I don't say it to discourage but there was no way in hell you should've gotten a point from me.
I've said this a million times but this game has some sort of form ratings. The last two seasons I've gone undefeated over 9 games in both and then I've gone winless in 7-8 game stretches in both. I never feel like I can control the outcome.
Edit: That result against you sockem, came during a 7 game winless streak.
@Sockem You remember better than me because you needed the points and it really had no relevance to me. Ultimately, I wasn't super mad about that game. Based on the form, I was probably half expecting to lose/draw.
As for Popo, I don't remember the draw but I'm sure it happened. Nothing surprises me. Again, I wasn't trying to say you were lucky to still be in the league or anything. I was just merely pointing out that anything can happen.
If you guys keep grinding, teams will eventually drop out. Mississauga United, FC MapleLeafs, Jinlin all are potential quits at some point. This is purely speculation based on how often they come online and how few managers are VIP anymore. I think only Lujan, Alex and Ron are VIP but I could be missing somebody.
To be honest, I expected Brainbot would've been gone, already. I would also likely be gone if I hadn't invested so much time and effort in this already. I'm basically waiting around, hoping for some ME changes that won't come.
There are still some things I haven't smashed up on my desk yet due to frustration, so I am not going anywhere for a while.
I see in the English league there are some big managers not logging in too. Something has to be done to the ME soon as big names are walking away from the game.
