Season 66 (21)
New Season, new aims:
Transfers: First of all, we had to let Cebola go. Ramamurthy was banging so hard on the door to play, that we decided to go for the 7 years younger player. He has the talent and abilities to replace Cebola.
Apart from that nothing much changed, some cashcows went in, some of them went out.
Ambitions:
Apart from trying to win the national league and cup, we also want to shine in the Asian league again. It will be hard to impossible to get into the semi finals again, but hey! nothing is impossible, the team is almost the same and only gets better since they are still very young.
(Bart, where is your analysis of the comp!!!)
Transfers:Not any of note.P. Fatasini a defender of sub-par talent replaced G. Salam a goalkeeper of similar calibre
Goals: Start building Stadium level 9. There should a few transfers in the mid season window to fund the missive. With no loans for the first time, we would do well to finish with 8 points which probably might book a demotion playoff spot.
It is great to see Nagercoil , Inazuma and Goal Diggers have progressed to the Asian League Qualifications R2 and Mohun Bagan have a favourable match-up in Champions League Qualifications R2.

It is my first season up here . My goal is to try to survive the season. I spent a few credits trying to get a loan or transfer but it's been difficult. There is still one day but I don't plan to get my hopes up. Good Luck to everyone for the season. And I truly enjoyed Bartje's analysis the one season he was in League 2.
How can we improve the performance of India National team ?
Well, one of the biggest problems is a good keeper. Most teams have a keeper with at least one black star or higher. In India we just don't had this...ever!
I hope Shrikant can maybe get up to a black star but it will get difficult, i think he has more potential than our current keeper so i try to give him the XP points.
I also hope that my next supertalent will also be useful to become a good keeper. Otherwise ill try to get a hard working one with young age from my own youth.
But as long as we do not have a great keeper, results will stay like this.
Apart from that I also have to say that we had a hard draw this year. the official matches were very bad, but the interlands we mostly won.
It looks like Keju and Arpit have not logged in for a while
Congratulations to everyone in the knock out phases in continental competition. We obtained already as much points as 5 seasons ago.
This time Mohun Bagan and myself managed to qualify for the group stage. Its been ages ago two indian teams managed to do this!
In the group stages itself we will struggle to obtain points. Mohun Bagan got a very hard draw, there are some possibilities but it won't be easy.
I find myself against some hard teams in the champions league. Though I think the skillgap is smaller than for Arko and his opponents. We will see if i can manage to finish 3th
Will be playing in AL group stage after long time...
Draw is hard for us... Skill gap between my team and others are high but lets see if we can pull off some draws...

So far no luck in the champions league. had two close games and 1 clear loss. Lets hope we can manage to win something in the three return games. Chances for ending third are getting really slim :(

It was a bit of a disappointing mid season window for us. Not one player wanted to take a flyer. Then again not having money to pay them might be the reason they stayed away lol
It looks like the league has a close three-way struggle between Goal Diggers Bengaluru and Mohan Bagan withGoal Diggers slightly pulling ahead. Inazuma, Faridabad, Mariners and Nagercoil seem to be the four contenders for the remaining two international slots for next season. As the season has progressed, Inazuma has been inching ahead of this pack. Dr Arpit's Thundering Pune has a legitimate chance of getting one of those slots if he gets enough time from his other life to be active again.
it seems a bit odd not having any Indian team in the international knockouts- I was hoping at least one of FC Ulhasnagar or Mohun Bagan would play ALround of 32

I recently upgraded my office to lvl 8.Now I am upgrading my health center to lvl 8.Really dissapointed with the performance of team ,but I am hopeful in future it will improve in future .I will upgrade my youth center after my whole team players are from lvl 9 youth center .Try to upgrade my stadium next season otherwise I will continue upgrading museum .

On an unrelated note Keju seems to have not logged back in in some time
Two thirds of this season is gone This season has been brutal. My team shows up to matches on crutches and leaves on wheelchairs. But I think I have learnt a little bit about player's skills and mattch plans if not a lot from playing with all of your teams. But one thing which looks certain is I will need to eject my curent cartridge of players and reload at the end of this season. when we were both in league 2, Bartje had mentioned in his preseason analysis that my team only had one or two decent players. If I had remembered that when my team came to level 1 I might have replaced the team with better players with more endurance and might have had at least fewer injuries and maybe a few more better results. One more thing I need to do is build the health center up and hire at least 1 massuese(or are they doctors? ) if not 2 to prevent the aforementioned wheelchaired players.

With most of the season passed, our only aim is to remain unbeated in the competition. At the end of the season, we going to sell Varati and let a younger player play with the big boys. Further more, nothing much is going to happen on the transfer market (unless there is a huge opportunity).
Financially we have a break even season, skillwise, the team grows stronger so thats good.
