sekmadienis kovas 30 - 15:20 European Qualifying kicks off tomorrow.
Best of luck to fencer and this squad.
Were pretty evenly matched with Turkey there Midfield is there strong point so crowding them out of it there might be our best bet as we have a solid Midfield ourselves. And our Defense is just a bit above there's as a whole .A close game will be had that's for sure.
Ukraine are probably the strongest outfit in the group closely followed by Northern Ireland. There just finished there World Cup campaign and will be looking to qualify again and all round solid team with depth in all positions. Park the bus i'd say as our defense has proven solid in the past
Georgia similar in strength but have some older players in defense which is something i dumped from the Ireland team in favour of the speed and fitness of younger players which may pay off here. But again another talented Midfield and striker but there weakness is there defence.
Northern Ireland. Big rival game, first time meeting them i think..they have one superstar midfield player that'll need to be watched but apart from that we match them in most areas
Russia is another good shout at a win they have one top notch defender but he isn't likely to be up front much and we match them in every other area a dogged fight will ensue to get anything out of the fixture.
Player to watch : Ross Mckenna new young striker coming up who has nearly a 7 star potential should be our go to man for goals.
Hard to predict where we will come as ive found internationals can be very random at times and cruel too ha,our young team should grow well throughout the campaign and hopefully see us battle for that 2nd spot it'll be tough as the top 2 teams are a good bit above us but we beat the Austrians in the WC qualification and they made it to the R16,so fingers crossed and best of luck!!!
