Well, there is no use, when those created 6+ talents get zero games within a month...

Not sure about continuing at the moment. Qualification ended horribly and now I am probably only manager, who has been both in top and bottom of rankings . My goal was to rise us outside of bottom 5.

It seems to be our typical pattern: couple of points against strongest teams of group and then hopeless losses against other weakest teams.

Another nice day to get message about NT selection and find some more young players in shortlist

KEEPERS

Froehucher remains our #1 keeper for some time, but it's time to replace Woile(39yo) with Stadelman. Bassmann is not probably NT material as he's not supertalent and will never catch previous two players. Maybe just some interlands at some point, but not now.

DEFENDERS

Half of called-ups are young and rising. Schumacher-Weber is still our leading CD pair with support from Metselar and Eppstein is our best winger. Eckstein has questionable combo of specialities like Mirwald, who had to be sacrificed for younger players.

Klaic has decent pack for DCB but Tournament Player makes him weaker. Roth has similar problems from Vain. Knab has nice future of winger just like Šaric and will play qualis quite soon. Volmar needs some adjustment, but I hope to see him as DCB.

MIDS

We have no good DMs, Weber is probably best match for that. It's very difficult to get normal DM to shortlist and maybe it's better to use some central defenders there. My "project" Atko Rajandi shows that training as defender with some passing will not help as passing doesn't give any star value to defender and not helping to shortlist. 

We have some young offensive mids coming too. Wuhl and Baudissin are quite promising, Weisse has unlucky Super Sub and born at very old age but might be useful too because of talent. All they have Playmaker too. Gleitsch is not at first team level, but probably will get his chances too. 

Kupfernagel and Kramer are aging, Lehrmann and Camerarius have some more seasons. I dropped out Spielmann as he is already weaker than Wuhl, Schleipfenbauer was just very terribly trained and career stats is clear proof of being useless. I have never seen MF with Winger having lot of assists, but many Playmakers on flanks with lot of assists. 

FORWARDS

Here we have dreadful situation: only 2 forwards in shortlist are younger than 28, Riedesel is just mediocre one with quite poor talent and not born at very young age. Let's hope soon appearing some younger ones too.

Last two matches turned very ugly because our best keeper was injured and as there was very little chances for success there were subs to give chance for younger players.

As several seasons have passed from my last youth review and currently I have more free time, it's right moment for new one. Last season has brought some then-mentioned names to shortlist.

Wiener Philharmoniker YA4 in progress

Schindele and Spies are current NT members, Roth was in previous secection, Gleitsch and Riedesel are also in shortlist. Another young mid Baudissin is NT member. 

Several potential players are coming like Beyer and Bayerl, Kupkat and others. 

Alt Erlaa YA2

Messy times have occurred in league table too. Hagner is lost case and Laurentius will be just mediocre player. Current shortlist member is Brehm, but is trained little bit weirdly to compete with other players. Udo Lanerd has great chances too as he is just 21 and less than star behind 25yo Bassmann- and he has been lucky one to not miss matches. Müller maybe too but he remembers Brehm too much. Other players are with questionable future because some clearly non-perspective players like Kreuger, Fromme and Wolfert steal their experience. Yep, one season with 20x450=9000 missing xp is just one click in older age, but counts a lot in younger age. 

Austria Vienna YA3

Has some potential material like Eifert, Mallenbrandt and Groh plus ST keeper Gercke. 

SCR Maul YC10 but getting Stadium11

Weinbaum is already passed by Lanerd and Gercke, who have also bigger talents. Better youngsters are all foreigners. It will take time to get next NT potential players. 

FC Liberty YA3

Beforementioned players are still waiting for their chances, Jotten will remain too weak. ST Moelling should be one of biggest NT potentials. Bahle and Steinhauser might have slim chances too, but we have already some stronger players at their age. Next alert would be Clarin.

Rapid Wien YC10

As team has very tiny stadium, they can't afford academies and NT potential players. Youth management has not improved. Huge list of total crap. Why to train Kevin Rohe??? Sell half of youth crap and concentrate to youngest players, then they might be worth to play in first team or recieve at least decent market value for bank/bots. 1-2 players trained correctly will be worth more than whole current youth team(and you can train at least 13 at same time!)

Pernegg YA1 in progress

No NT material because of facilities. At least has started to pull players at right age.

Lunatic Purple Gekos YA2

Team with specific building strategy to have always strong youth team and selling all pulls of first possible moment. Their former player Knab is happily in NT like Šaric, Klaic and Weiand, all sold within 2 first seasons and now undisputed prospects.

Voi Gas YA2 in progress

 Eisendorf is not so good as he should be and again pulling 16+yo players, there were some u15 pulls too like Susskind, who has player too few players and still far better than Buss and Wamp who are 16 too.

Simmering YA1

Bassmann is in shortlist, but no real NT perspective. Vincentz and Busemann stay far from needed level. Even Stankalla, Hayek and Kirschofer aren't good enough compared to players from other teams at same age. Bretschneider was quite old when born and is too far from some 20-21yo keepers from other teams and less talented. 

HSV YA1 in progress

Facilities are not yet good enough to pull NT material.(stadium, TC)

Rapid Villach YC10

Maybe ST Nerlinger has some chances if trained normally, but Lazy is not good trait for mids and facilities are not very good.

Other teams have no facilities to pull good players.

Little reminder of born special attributes and specific positions:

Selfish - forward

Team player - midfielder(playmaker)

Lazy - central defender(as they move very fewanyway), but not sweeper

Aggressive - winger defender(will cause lot of penalties in center)

Roaming - maybe sweeper. Surely not forward as he will never be in right place when needed. Some suggest to keeper as there R. has no effect.

Intelligent - defender or mid

The awkward moment, when one of weakest teams is leading group but we had probably two strongest opponents too and trouble times against weaker teams are coming. Youngsters are nicely coming in and we are finally out from last page of rankings.

About training defensive mids: be careful with balance between Dueling and Passing: too much Passing means weaker Dueling and "old school DM" doesn't function any way: with under 4 Dueling he can't stop anybody and under 6 Passing he's useless as AM/LM/RM. 

It's difficult to get DM early to shortlist: little bit more Dueling than Passing is best, but their star value is not often good enough to reach shortlist compared to "old school" rubbish. Current ones in shortlist Harald Geilinger, Bert Mallenbrandt and Herbert Brehm have all too low Dueling for being good DM. 

Another hint: Scoring is only for forwards. That 1 ball of Scoring on defenders or mids is just wasting of xp. Better give to your mid Set Pieces and Long Shots and he scores more from corners or freekicks with zero Scoring. Example: https://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-1444141 (former Estonian NT mid with absolute zero scoring, but as Set Pieces specialist he scored 4-6 goals from freekicks on his best seasons which is far more than 1 goal from 1.5 Scoring mid). Any fieldplayer may score a lot in bot league, but in league over average level they score maybe once in two seasons. That scoring may bring couple of goals against our usually dead last newcomers, but they'll be poorer against stronger teams in league.

It's useful to watch players of absolute top teams like Wageningen, Real Madrid etc and take over their training models.
