Season 6 (69)
Hello League 1! I am very excited to be able to play against the best teams in the US and improve my squad this year! I want to wish everyone good luck and good fortune this season! Also want to know what everyone hopes to gain from this season(where do you want to finish, personal goals, etc.). I hope to finish in the top 10 but would be extremely happy if I got to play in an international tournament next season! Also I hope to improve my B-team players and round out my squad overall.
Thank you Kevin. Welcome to the American League Div 1. My personal goal this year is still fourth place(which I almost lost it last year). In this transfer period, I've signed two players to improve my main squad. Hopefully I could finish this season better. Good luck to everyone and best wishes this year.
Hey Karank!
Welcome to US League 1! I'm excited to participate in an increasingly competitive League. I hope you will have a lot of fun this season!
Tomorrow I will start the World Cup Club which I will try the best to get to the Semi Final. That is as far as I could get as European and Asian Champions will be in that round and I am no match to them!
For the new season, I'd like to retake the League after losing it to SFVP in the very last round last season (and valentine, you are the one to be blamed!!!! :D). I'd also try to get the Cup which I have always been eliminated early so far, and get at least to semi final of the Champions League.
For the staff, I have added one excellent striker to help Holger and I'm looking forward for at least one more youngster star.
Good luck to all of my friends (and rivals!) and I"m looking forward to have a lot of fun with you this season!
GO USA!

Congratulations to the Glenndale Bunnies and the New York Cosmos on promoting. Good luck next season! Congratulations also to the New York Red Bulls on avoiding relegation!
Good luck to Enhac Kavey in the Club World Cup! It was fairly lucky pulling the only non-Champions League champion in the first round. After that, it would only take 2 lucky wins to win it all.
I suppose that I would like to defend my Cup title and hopefully retake the league title after 2 relatively disappointing seasons. Now that I have a solid striker to supplement my effective defense and goaltending, I hope that I will finally be able to score more goals and win all of the close games that I haven't been closing out. The league title is probably more of a priority. Hopefully I can progress further in the Champions League this year as well.
I'm fairly happy with my team for now. I only plan to buy cheap prospects and try to sell or loan a bunch of players. I've actually had some trouble selling and loaning players though. I don't know if the problem is the local market or if players just become impossible to sell once they reach 22. My offense might take a small step back in the short run since I am replacing my 28.5 year old 4.35 star forward with a promising 4.1 star 23 year old forward, Chantaca. I'm also really excited about my 350 credit 20 year old goaltender who is going to take over as my backup goaltender. He's just as good as my starter with the maximum bonus.
I don't really have much of a B team (though it would definitely help for all those poorly scheduled games). I just have my starters, prospects (I sell my weakest prospects every season), and a few intermediate aged players who project to eventually take over as starters (most of whom end up out on loans).
Good luck to everyone in the upcoming season!

I think I will do my post from a different perspective...it has been a long slow climb...no make that a slog up to League 1...having had only the smallest of a taste from the playoffs in season 1 and then spending three seasons backing up in the standings along with much frustration about my team...I see that my climb is not over...I look up at some very well constructed teams and a lot of ribbons attached when I look at standings...so I guess I still need my climbing shoes...
I am very happy to be here among the elite teams and managers of the United States and I look forward to a season of growth and learning more about this game...
I wish everyone well in season 6...as for this transfer window...I have been an unsuccessful seller and not a buyer...I will continue to construct my squad methodically and build from within...
Thanks to all who sent congratulatory messages my way...

I added another elite defenseman yesterday. I should be able to cover most of the cost if I can sell the defenseman he is replacing.
Too bad about the Club World Cup, but it was still an impressive run.
Thanks Ulysses. I actually felt the final result doesn't reflect the game properly. His world class GK had a phenomenal game with form 9 so I can only score one out of the 23 low risk shoots I have.
Anyways, Subotica is the winner of Eurpoean Champions League and he surely has a much better squad than we do, so let's look for a better game next time :)

Sorry for the Club World Cup. But AC. Subotica might be the world No. 1 club. He has been leading this game since Vincent created it. After one or two years, when your world class goalkeeper grows up, the result should be totally different.
I record the first loss at home since I started playing the game against Los Angeles FC! :(
This is really an upset as his GK had a storming night stopping 20 low risk shoots from my players :(
I'm sure this first upset promises a very interesting season for all of us! Keep going and have a great season!

It seems that I forgot to adjust my lineup for today and lost 3-1 to SFVP. It probably would only have improved my chances by 10% or so though.
A tough start for the bunnies sees embarrassing defeats from Enhac Kavey and Pittsburgh Riverhounds! Promise shows as we did get a draw with Kandokan today, but will look to improve dramatically as the season goes on!
Seems like the season is done early for me :( SFVP looks undefeatable at the moment!
