The 6th season is about to start.

FC Korndackeln has won the title last season (and the season before, and the season before that season,...). No one questions the fact that the team from Korneuburg is the big favorite. Schorny has a very promising and talented team. Jean-Pierre Pasquale and Sven Sommer were a nightmare for every defense last season. They both scored 44 goals in the Austrian league.
“Scheiss di net ån.” is a phrase often heard when a team has to play against FC Korndackeln.


Only the winner of the Austrian cup, SC Columbia Floridsdorf was able to keep up with them until the end of the season. Kosmo has a great team that uses the right tactics. Winning the European League in season 4 was one of the highlights in his career. The other teams are warned : With famous Austrian striker Roger Goldschmid and Swiss player Michael Frey, Kosmo has a team that can bring the title to Vienna.

FC Red Bull Salzburg ended 3th. After a good season they qualified for the ECL. It must be said that Salzburg boys are outsiders or even candidates to win the title. With players such as Jörg Wendelin (24) and Rene Schilgen (21)
we can say that they have a very promising future in the Austrian league. Both players are from their youth academy so this is very good for our beloved Austrian NT.

FC Schruns reached 4th place. After a cupfinale in season 3 and the title in season 1 it has been a while since FC Schruns has won something. Slowly they are trying to make their way to the top, which is not easy in this league. Robert Bawden and new boy Francis Alcantara will have to lead their team to victory. Is FC Schruns an outsider or are they going to lose their battle for a place at the top ?

Austria Wien Sopron surprised everyone by taking 3th place in season 4. The season after was less succesfull with a 5th place. But don't let this foul you, they are starting their 3th season in the Austrian Bundesliga and that means that they have more experience. Manager leslytaylor has some strong players like Laszlo Szabics. This team has a lot to offer.

And what about the others ? Banana Split FC, FC Alt Erlaa and SC Pernegg will do everything to reach the top 5 or even better. Maybe one of them can surprise us all ?

FC Wiener Neustadt and Espanyol Innsbruck weren't good enough to stay in the Austrian Bundesliga.

FC Voi Gas United and SV Kumberg took in their places. This promising teams won't make the lives of the other managers easy. Will they adept fast to the Bundesliga level ?

I don't want to comment the other teams,just a quick summary of my team for this season:

Last season my team had really weak(i won't call it terrible) defence and that was the reason why we were struggling in some away matches that we should have won easly. This season that will change and i won't be wrong if i say that defence is now my strongest area of the team.Also we said goodbye to one Austrian young player that was regular player last season (Jan Bisky) and we signed NT player from Togo who is really attacking player with good scoring abbility.So beside strong defence our mid is a little stronger then last season and Schilgen become a superstar now(he wasn't last season). Better defence + Better attack = Less goals conceded and more goals scored! Let's see if im going to fail or win! Good luck to all,this is going to be an awesome season cuz no bots in the league anymore.

I'm trying to be as active as possible but I don't have a lot of free time (school, hobbies etc) ;)

My team didn't get stronger, because I currently invest all my money in Infrastructure - and I can afford that because I have the strongest team - at least until now.

FC Red Bull Salzburg did invest a lot in a stronger defense and I didn't do too well against them last season - so we'll see what that means. Also SC Columbia didn't get weaker even though they sold their captain. FC Schruns is always able to steal some points from me and they don't get weaker either.

So I think the gap is closing. I am kind of scared of SC Columbia this season, because they finally have a strong defense and Kinte is getting really scary. And FC Red Bull Salzburg are currently only lacking a midfield star. Their offense is getting scarier each day and now their defense looks solid too. Luckily their Goalkeeper seems to be getting past his prime.

So I predict a threeway at the top ;)

What interests me the most though is FC Alt Erlaa this season. They loaned a lot of good players, so they didn't invest money in their squad but I think they might be able to compete for the fifth place now.

We have a very interesting league ;)

Gk past his prime?? Man he is a beast!!! Gk's are better when they are older,that's why i didn't replaced him yet! He will be first GK till age of 35.What really concerns me is that we don't have sub for Austrian NT team :( I can easly buy foreign gk,but how to switch him from NT ??

EDIT: i was JK,yeah he is maybe past his prime but it's impossible to find a good GK younger then 28 and good gk's older then 28 are not valuable.Id rather give Puchner few more seasons till one of my youth Gk will be able to step up,but srsly who is going to sub him at NT? XD

He is slowly starting to lose his blocking skills. He is still awesome, don't get me wrong, but I think he will be losing skills this season.

My biggest Goalkeeper Talent and SC Columbias biggest Goalkeeper Talent are both not from austria. So yeah, we do have a Problem there. Maybe Beast (http://rockingsoccer.com/en/soccer/info/player-251915) can step it up in a few seasons?

will be tougher ;) two strong teams enter the leauge :)
the focus this season is - stay here :)

So after first round top 4 teams are the same as last season(just in diffrent order)..Is that going to change or someone else is going to step up in top 4? Lets see

Austria Wien Sopron lost their first 2 matches. And tonight they have to play Europa League... I hope they can pull it together.

But it seems there is a crisis going on - one of the big teams is struggling hard. And SV Kumberg aiming for the top? One of the top teams down already, how many more can they take down?

and a stupid corner in the 89th minute seals my defeat.
