Average Rating for players (20)
It would be nice to see season average rating for a player on his employment and stats page. Even though the rating is meaningless and often inaccurate, it would would still be a nice adition for defenders at least. Maybe a table for players with best average rating in league as well, with a requirement of matches played according to league length.

Yeah,it will be a good stat that could indicate the player's consistency.
Then it should be linewise: keepers, defenders DMs mids and forwards separated or we see only mids in that table.
Sure,you can just sort the players according to position.
The match ratings make very little sense, even if you break it down per position.
When a forward misses a chance, his match rating goes up.
When a midfielder dribbles the ball for several minutes only to end up giving away possession, his match rating goes up, sometimes by 2 or 3 points. (The most significant examples of this are in U21 matches, but I digress.)
When a defender (or any player) commits a foul in a position for a dangerous free kick, but doesn't receive a card, their match rating is unaffected.
When a team concedes via a penalty, the match rating of every defensive player decreases, instead of just the player who committed the foul. In addition, the goalkeeper's rating should not be affected much if he doesn't manage to save the penalty. Conversely, missing a penalty should result in the penalty taker's match rating decreasing by at least 1 or 2 points.
As it is now, the match rating is meaningless, even relative to other players in the same position.

But all those tables have just top10 and all 10 best rankings are on mids only. You never see there defenders. So wtf you sort there?
10-20 teams in league and in least case 11 regular players in every team (i rotate players too and use subs) its far over 100+ players with enough matches. So we could have stats in scorers table about mids and defs too possible to select? Do you imagine table with 300 players all visible?
No,you will have a different list for the top 10 most highest or most consistent strikers,defenders and midfielsders in the league stats list.
The idea is opened with the statement 'even though the ratings are meaningless'. But still, very predictable, someone feels the need to mention that the ratings make little sense. Just read! The topic starter is aware that they are meaningless.
I mean what's the disadvantage of this. Nothing.
it shows your most consistent performers and something new for managers to see.but at the same time it's not something that is really important for the game right now. There are a lot more things that need work
It shouldn't take too much of time to implement it,as this data won't be stored for more than a season.
I mean suggestion forum is just a banter, nothing gets actually added to the game cause there are a few people who manage to shoot down every idea.
I agree there are more important things to add and recently thought about U21 National teams.
