Unfortunate to lose 2-0 today, but v. pleased to have got through a tough U21 cup match against Strood City (with my first choice keeper out injured) - after such an impressive run in the U21 League (if only my 1st team were that good...), it would have been a shame to crash out this early!

The Hoodies are now looking like a weak side after picking up just two points from their last 6 games! The fans were hopeful of a good season after picking up 8 points from their first 5 games, some sections of the crowd were even singing we're gonna win the league. Those fans are now the ones asking for the managers head... how fickle footballs are

That's one goal in four games for me. Three draws and a defeat. I can't even be bothered to complain anymore.

The whole of the Hoodies team were caught on camera in the local strip joint celebrating today's result. Our reporter 'Bob' caught up with the manager Cloughie and put the question to him -

Bob- Mr Clough, why were your team out celebrating when you lost ...convincingly?

Cloughie - well, look ere young man we've played god knows how many games and scored only 3 goals. I looked at what Ranieri had done, so I thought Pizza? No, I told the Merry Men if you score just one goal we'll go out for.. titty/totty!!!!

Bob- Mr Clough, some would say that is not only crude but also sexist. What would say to them?

Utter nonsense.

A great result and my biggest victory at home to Tranby Park, winning 5-1.

This season has seen a great improvement over the last.

After 15 games we find ourselves in 5th place, maybe a Euro spot at the end of the season.... I'll be very happy with top 6 and challenge for top 4 next season.

It is still a young team and will be hard to beat in a couple of seasons.

Another good day with two wins.

I have never been scheduled for a home game in the cup for years, even when I was facing stronger teams. Not happy.

To be honest our cup run is only good thing we've had this season some really poor league results, basically if it's away anywhere its a loss or draw.. while our home games yield any random possible result, next cup game is away at Cardiff city might be where we bow out
