Round 30 (8)
Another loss for Natsumi's Army who fall 3-2 against Winchester, the defeat makes it three in a row for The Army, while Winchester narrow the gap on the top 5. Prior to the game Natsumi promised fans a change in personal and in formation, the team saw a return for seemingly out of favor Hasnun and a rare 45 mins for Tim as part of a 3 4 3 formation, there was no place for solid center back for Kori Kubal, and in the early exchanges this new formation looked to do the trick as the away side took a early lead. However the defense that has looked vulnerable all season shipped three goals before a late consolation goal threatened to make a contest of the match. The pressure is on Natsumi who last round asked for consistency well, one could argue shes getting it, Natsumi's Army have been consistently dismal. The manageress was rather calm given her current situation.
'we played better today then in recent performances, the result may not show it but the team had some real grit and determination, its hard to analyse where we belong in this league, we have some quality players but a lot of them are very young and inexperienced, in today's match the oldest player we had on the field was 24 and that's our goal keeper. We need more time together on the training field, and more matches playing together as a unit before we can reach our potential'

The bookies have made a few quid!
News from the dressing room... We spoke to one of the squad members from the Hoodies team he told us exclusively that Cloughie promised the team, if they could pick up points today he would let them have the rest of the week off with a trip to Amsterdam! Obviously Amjad Shearer the 'playboy' popped up with a goal to secure the 3 points.
A great assist from the consistent Clough showed that it's not always the talented youngsters that make the headlines but the utility players that are considered the workhorses of the team.
The mood in the camp has changed and maybe letting their hair down will do the lads good after such a disheartening part of the season.
Obviously Cloughie did say that he did not want to see the players in the newspapers but he also said ' What goes on in Dam stays in Dam'

Sure to make the headlines Bollington beat Tranby .....They were cocky sat up at the top but they could be knocked off their....Gower all that grief and cockiness you were giving all I can say is HA
The mighty Bollington struck 4 past the complacent Tranby Park! New boy De Rosas bagging his first senior goal for the team which following Bolt on Wonderbras win knocks Tranby out of the automatic promotion slot!! There's sure to be more crazy twists to come this season!!
Continuing the hi-jinx of Hubris Day, Ferndown United sported a lineup of mainly benchwarmers to pickup an all-important win against Aston Villains. Ferris Beales, backup keeper, picked up man of the match for his excellent work in picking up a clean sheet, while one of the few starters to make the pitch, fullback Tristen Seda, potted the game's lone goal off a corner in the 68th.
"Well, the main squad has looked a bit ragged, to tell the truth," sand Ferndown's manager. "plus, let's face it; they haven't got the job done, and I've some lads hungry for time on the pitch. I figured we couldn't make it worse."
Hopefully for Ferndown, the recent spate of overconfidence will continue tomorrow, as Bollington, fresh off their lambasting of league-powers Tranby Park, will host the plucky lads of Ferndown.

A tight and hard fought 1-0 away victory against struggling Blackpool Utd saw Bolt On Wonderbras overtake Tranby Park on goal difference at the top of Division 2 after Tranby's surprise 4-1 mauling at home to Bollington.
Harlow Utd slipped up with a 3-1 home defeat to Yorkshire Boys to fall 5 points behind the leaders ahead of tomorrow's sold out top of the table clash between Bolt On Wonderbras and Tranby Park at the DoubleDee stadium.
Wonderbras manager has concerns over promotion and the feeling his squad are not ready for the top flight. Club owner Roman Aintveryrich has said funds will not be widely available for squad strengthening due to investments in improved facilities.
