Season 22 Roleplay's (24)
As Title Suggests Gonna be posting role-plays here since the other forum seems to just become people talking to each other and complaining about this or that I want this one to be solely based on people role playing, for those that enjoy literate or reading.

Making there way into the press conference to round of applause they calmly take there seats and begin answering the questioning panel. *
Question One - What is the goal for the a coming season?
Natsumi - Aside form keeping my job? *teases playfully before taking the question more seriously* This year we aim to give the fans something they've been wanting for awhile, we've been so focused on staying up we scarofice the cup competitions in order to keep our small squad as fit as possible for premier league action, no more.. I want it the fans want it the neutrals want it everyone wants to see the spirit squad natsumi's army march into a semi final of a cup competition, A good cup run weather its the u21 cup of the FA cup we want to progress further.
Question two - So you no longer focused on survival?
Natsumi - It's always going to be a objective to get those 40 points as soon as possible, it may come easily it may be a struggle but we cannot afford to constantly focus on that, we survived comfortable last season despite a massive drip in form in the latter stages of the season if we don't start giving ourselves more credit and positive goals we'll never fully establish ourselves as footballing super power, we ready for war and intend to give every game everything we've got right down to the final whistle of the final day of the season, and we just hope that day will be Saturday 21 of may and the FA Cup final.
*After some confident fiery words from warlord Natsumi she passed future questions on to her staff members the overall feeling at the Shikoku Fortress was that of anticipation and confidence with spirits high after a largely successful season and some exciting prospects purchased, some fans were still unhappy with the departure of star man niti but the excitement of a new season and promise of a cup run quelled those concerned voices *

Q. Stephen, Seaburn Beach have been involved in a relegation battle during the last couple of seasons. Do you expect more of the same, this year?
A. Well, Brian, of course things haven't gone as well as I'd hoped they might. It's difficult balancing improving the playing staff with building new facilities.
Q. So, do you think the chairman should have given you more money to strengthen the squad?
A. No, Brian - why are you people all called Brian? Anyway, I'm not saying that at all. The chairman has been brilliant, to be honest. He's let me have goldfish in my office and I've got my own parking space. You can't ask for more than that.
Q. You've only signed one new first team player at the moment. Are you hoping to bring in more players?
A. Well, only time will tell, but the club's scouting system has been looking all over the world, staying in 5* hotels, having 4-course meals, drinking fine wines, to try and find the very best talent we can afford. Unfortunately, there's not much money available for new purchases. We've been trying to sell some fringe players, but they like it here. I'm not sure why. Maybe it's because of the seaside atmosphere? The weather's cold, yes and it's been raining forever and only a mentalist would go for a swim, but you can get some nice fish and chips. I think that's why they want to stay.
Q. Stephen, have you got a message for the fans for the new season?
A. Yes, I have. I want to tell them that we're ready for the Seaburn derby against Apocalypse City. The lads know how important it is for local bragging rights. In addition to that, it's about time the side pushes up the table. I'm optimistic that if we can find one more player, we can have a much more successful season.
Q. Do you think the fans are still behind you after last season's struggle? And the season before that? And the season before that?
A. Yes, Brian, I do. The fans have been brilliant in my time here. Recently, many of them spend the games waving white handkerchieves at me, to encourage me. It did get a bit silly, as I spent a lot of time each game waving back at them. There was also the time that they threw those lucky stones at the team coach to try and turn our fortunes round. In addition, it was old at the training ground recently and someone lit a fire to keep me warm. They weren't to know that it would spread to my favourite Robin Reliant, but these things happen. Loyal fans like that are hard to find in my book and I'm looking forward to having the level 9 stadium finished, so we can pack an extra 20,000 people into the stadium.
Seaburn Beach Press Officer: Sorry folks, we'll have to leave it there. We've run out of money for the electricity meter.

The Opening day of the new season brought with it months of excitement and for some nerves, well fought contests were being fought with some teams surprising us, with suprice early leaders Walsall Allstars running riot over last years controversial side Winchester, usual suspect Strood city managed a ugly 1-0 victory over newly promoted arsenal the affair saw few chances and 5 cards including straight reds for a player on each side, and a injury for the home team, with reigning champions Liverpool City yet to play the camera's attention was turned to Shikoku Fortress where Natsumi was about to lead her spirit squad out for the first match of the season.
Despite all the hype of a new season and promise of adventurous attacking football cup success and use of youth players, the 50k seater saw 14,000 empty seats largely because the away team failed to allocate the 10,000 seats given to neutrals and away fans. Mumours echoed though the crowds as the team sheets were announced, big summer signings Akararu and Ong were both left along with out of favour fan favourite Niu, and instead 20 year old Tino Ronkainen who has been purchased as a youth prospect deemed not good enough and sent out on loan for the entirety of last season, got his first call up to the first team starting in center defence, another strange voice was Nathan Prwose another youth player only 19, with the two of them in the squad Natsumi affectively fielded her youngest ever starting 11 in a EPL match.
The crowd soon came to life as Canete broke free blitzing past the defence with his staggering speed to score the first goal of the match jut two minutes in, That individual bit of brilliance inspired Natsumis team and with one from bi and another from caete they found themelves 3-0 up against a defeated looking gloucester who only managed a single off target shot in the first half. Elliot Rowner had big shoes to fit as the departure of Niti left him as the team's main outlet, he enjoyed a comfortable first half and went on to be the man of the match. Dancing with excitement on the side lines pop princess Natsumi would go on to make 3 changes at half time giving a run out to new singing ong and youth players hui and chabez, the weakened side professionally saw out the second half reducing gloucester to 3 shoots in a rather dull second half. The final whistle, and gloucester's team left, hand shakes were given and shirts swapped Natsumi looked quite pleased as the defeated team made its way down the tunnel she had kept her 11 players and six subs out on the pitch running, kicking of her heels to run up and join them center stage the team bowed and clapped for there loyal fans too a standing ovation.

Bah, mis-clicked. This post has been re-posted.
Here, in an exclusive interview with German magazine VierVierZwei, Kesvick, the manager of Imperial FC, discusses this season in the wake of his opening match against M Fayyz United.
Q: Firstly, Kesvick, congratulations on your emphatic 4-1 victory over M Fayyz United. Surely that must make you optimistic about this season?
A: Yes, it was a good victory, but for us we are always working on making ourselves better. The question marks always exist because it’s part of our job, but despite that, I believe that we have made progress in the Championship. The question marks last season were a lot about us dealing with the big games and I think that, overall, we have moved forward on that front, especially in the second half of the season. We have become a resilient, reliable and consistent team.
Q: What are your aspirations for this season?
A: The aspirations are the same as everybody: to fight to get promoted to the Premier League. That has not changed.
Q: Given Imperial FC’s form last season, is there a sense that this season is your season?
A: Naturally; I believe that people always want more. That is normal. The consistency that we have shown over last season is absolutely exceptional and with the Championship being its most difficult yet and despite our relatively young squad, we remained at the top and we developed many strong players. Now, I believe we are in a position where you can expect always more.
Q: This season, your transfer activity indicates that you've sold or loaned 8 players out of the club and not bought any replacements for them, instead choosing to promote from within. Does this indicate that you are confident about the responsibility that your youth graduates can shoulder this season?
A: Yes. As I said before, we have developed many strong players, and now is their time to shine and to contribute to the club. I have every confidence in their ability.
Q: Well, that's all the time we have. Thank you very much for your time, Kesvick. Best of luck to this season!
A: You're welcome.

Two of last seasons top scorers went head to head in what was dubbed to be the goal fest! Both the Villains and the Hoodies scored in abundance last season opting for entertaining football over all else.....
Obviously just the one goal !!!
We have caught up with Cloughie and our very own sky sports reporter .... hold that I'm just being told that Adam Leventhal is not doing the interview .... for some reason Kate Abdo AND Charlotte Jackson are actually there with Cloughie (off camera... are they not studio presenters?) over to you Kate & Charlotte
[Kate] Brian you must be pleased with your opening day victory
[Cloughie] Now look here young lady that's Cloughie to you (when the cameras are rolling). No I'm not pleased at all! The fans from both sides came to watch two of the most entertaining teams in the league, what they saw was a stalemate both teams seem to cancel each other out.
Did we deserve the win?.. No I think Deca will feel aggrieved his lads didn't come out with a point and for my lot they'll be jogging through the nettles on the banks of the Trent this week, I can tell you that much!
{Kate} I believe you had a question Charlotte ...
[Cloughie] she's busy!!
[Kate] Back to the studio then

Q: Stephen, tomorrow, it's the match that all of the fans have been talking about - the derby against Apocalypse City.
A: Yes, that's right, Brian. The team know the importance of this game to the fans and we will be doing everything in our power to beat them. I'd say that it'd be a tough game but, let's face it, everyone has beaten them. I could probably put together a team of 11 of our fans and still be confident of winning. In fact, I might play the under-12s, just to give them a chance. Of course, there are no easy games in League 1, but this will be a very easy game. We'll definitely win, no doubt about it.
Q: I've never known you so confident before a game. Aren't you worried that this will be perceived as typical Seaburn Beach arrogance by the Apocalypse City fans, team and manager?
A: Not really, no. I don't think it's arrogant to say that we're miles better than them. I mean *miles* better. I mean, what have they won? Tell me this - how many major trophies have they won?
Q: Well, none I suppose. How many have Seaburn Beach won?
A: Er... next question.
Q: Do you have a prediction for tomorrow then?
A: Yes, I do. I think we'll win by at least seven clear goals. In fact, if we don't win by five, I'll go skinny dipping in the North Sea. And believe me, it's a bit nippy, just now.
Q: [whispers to colleague] yep, I think he's finally gone completely mental. [in louder voice] Well, thanks for your time, Stephen and good luck for the game tomorrow.
A: No problem, Brian.

Despite a convincing 2-0 win against city rivals, Apocalypse City, Stephen was in no mood to celebrate. He issued a strong statement, condemning the playing style of his opponent.
"They didn't come to play football. They're animals, the lot of them. The referee lost control of the game and my lads were kicked from pillar to post. They've even nicked the towels from the dressing room. Disgraceful stuff. Their manager is to blame."

On hearing seaburn beach manager post match interview apocalypse city's manager Dale completely agreed with Steve "we are animals, but not thieves!" (Whilst stuffing 2 towels down his underpants).

Q. Stephen, Siphiwe Odere was booked for diving today. How did you see the incident?
A. It was a penalty, Brian.
Q. Really?
A. Well, no. It was a definite dive. But, I'd have given a penalty.
Q. You also got totally outplayed but Odere managed to score a wonderful freekick. After he scored, what was behind his celebration?
A. You'll have to ask him, but he was getting a lot of abuse for the incident earlier in the match. There is a contractual obligation for all of my players to taunt the opposition fans in such circumstances.
Q. What next for Seaburn Beach?
A. Well, next up is er, *consults fixture list*, oh. Bugger, it's Strood City. Oh well, at least I will be able to peddle the excuse that we're missing loads of first team players through injury. Remind me of that tomorrow, Brian, will you?
Q. Yes, I will. Thanks, Stephen. Now, back to the studio.
