Why INDIA player names use for Indonesian player names?
Indonesia is not INDIA.
Please change it.
Are they all Indian names or just some of them?
The idea seems to be that the names are representative of people who actually live in Indonesia. So they don't all have to be native Indonesian.
All of them. I can not even search the name of our president "Joko".
Unlike Singapore and Malaysia, Indian descend in Indonesia are less.
Our last indian desc player here is Wijay (Vijay) who played last in 2008.

I'm no expert on Asian names, but they are clearly not all Indian names.
What countries would you say the names on the shortlist orginate from, and what percentage of each?
Almost all indian. Only 2 chinese name : lee and tao su -> this also uncommon chinese name.

Not knowing what Indonesian names look like I just wanted to be clear that it wasn't just a few other ethnicities in there. I'm surprised it's taken 7 years for anyone to notice.
Earlier it was possible to ask from Vincent database of names and correct it. In Estonia Torres was such person. Originally we had several female names like Urve, Enel and Anu and some weird names, which were in Internet somewhere and several games took their database from there. Their origin was probably misreading from some old manuscript like Artier from Artur and Coomas from Toomas.
I'm not sure whether it's possible nowadays, at some point Vincent didn't want more changes with that, but maybe it depends on country.
FYI only
I was surprise, finally I found some Indonesian name in : East Timor and Brunei Darussalam. Like Djaya... Djoyo... Pamungkas etc.
I also found out that :
Singapore NT have all Thailand player names.
Myanmar NT have all Indian Player names.
So, India have more than 2 NTs. Thailand have 2 NTs.
