nope.. just for fun.. play whatever players/line ups you want :)
Others probably in my boat, don't have enough friendly tokens.
Edit: I've just read up on them, and having realised that injuries and fatigue carry over and they aren't played under test match conditions, I'll be giving the friendly cups a big miss.
I would normally only play friendlies during a season on NT days and even then only if I have players with matches left for XP.
Too much chance of these impacting league matches and if you can't play your best players in these games, not really much point in entering them.
They should have been set up to use tst match conditions if they are for fun. Instead, the injuries are likely to add to frustration, and that is an element of this game that is definitely not fun.
