Thanks guys you are right I'm just not good at being patient sometimes lol. But even bad results get me down it just makes me more determined. Also I guess it will take longer as I'm trying to do it with youngsters from my YC with only the odd signing so i can concentrate my finances on building the facilities but I'm sure I will get there.
Yes, you should learn from me, I'm always so calm and reasonable when I have a dodgy result lol (perhaps I need to have a word with myself).
I've already scraped together enough points to avoid relegation, and European football was never on the cards, so I'm not too bothered, but I thought the stats from my last 5 games made for interesting reading:
Total shots for me: 81
Goals scored: 4
Shots against me: 50
Goals conceded: 8
Points: 1
Overall, this has been a pretty successful season for me; I'm not in the bottom 3, youth academy level 1 is almost finished, my bank balance is healthy and my starting team is young. Not quite sure how best to strengthen during the transfer window, but I'm sure I'll find a way!
I envy teams building TA or YA1; I saved for 6 or 7 seasons just to get to Stadium 10 and will need to save for maybe 3 more to build again. Still, in the meantime I can enjoy results like this 
Indeed. 'Minimise defeat' is a cancer in the game. I hate that it's possible to just unthinkingly click main skill in the training centre and then have that work. It's boring in the extreme.
... I love minimise defeat sooooo much. My love of it is well documented on the main forums.
