Welbeck has started as a Center Forward 7 times this season and has scored 5 goals in those 7 games. He is a hardworker, he helps back in defense, has good pace as well as strength and height. On top of that he rarely misses any passes or gives away possession.
I'm surprised Man Utds defense doesn't do more mistakes considering how often they have to defend themself while being caught off guard. Arsenal, Barcelona, Bayern and Dortmund also do a lot of mistakes in defense, but this is a natural part of the game when the plan is to dominate. This just doesn't work for Man Utd because they lack options in the final third (wingers cross way too often/Young never looks for passing options and Januzaj looses possession quickly) and their CMs arent able to cover a lot of ground (usually Carrick and Cleverly).
Sorry for being off topic, but to be honest this fosum isn't that big and it might be better to just have a general Premier League thread:P
